I DUNNO WHY, but it's my favorite figure of 2008. Even over the probably better made Jor-EL. But Frodo is high quality, i just can't see enough pics of him!

I am sure that this has been brought up some where in the last 300 pages. But why didn't Sideshow use something o cover those seams in the shins and the ankle joints? I have every other 1/6th LOTR figure from SS but the two hobbits. I just can't get over how much I hate the legs in every pic I see. Has anyone done custom work to cover it. I am watching the Fellowship on DVD right now and it is really bugging me that I have no hobbits in my collection.

The shins bothered me at first (mostly before I actually had them in hand). But honestly you shouldn't let that stop you from buying them. They're fantastic figures.

I don't know every time I see a pic of those two those seams are all I can see. Does anyone know why Sideshow didn't cover them?

That's just the way it is, Most Bodies have seams and hobbits wear shorts so......

Once you have them in hand you won't care they're that good.

They don't bug me anymore but if its a big deal just stick some glue in there and press the two halves together. No biggie.

I guess what I am asking is does anyone one know why Side Show didn't cover it the with a type of later or ruber like Hot Toys Rambo or Enterbays Bruce Lee?
