I picked up a couple of Frodos. I've been waiting to get some for parts. I might have only gotten one, but buying two gets you free shipping, and this way I can have extra parts for my Bilbo.

Funny how they think they are premium format figures.

I never understood this. I just have the hobbits and GTG.(never thought i NEEDED the whole FS) And that's all i want. (right now) GTG is sending them off to Bree in my display

Never saw a need for them all, but to each his own i guess.

Yeah well just the hobbits and Gandy do look good together for your little set piece. I got them all and having them displayed knowing that no more 1:6 LotR will get made is different... this never bothered me before SS announced the line was on hold.

I am going to hold onto them - the credit crunch is taking its toll but I'm sure I can let some other collectable stuff go before I part with my LotR figures.

Switch up your display. Put Legolas with Aragorn somewhere, Boromir with Faramir, and the hobbits and GTG something like that spread em out. I'm sure it sucks not gettnig the FS, but it just never bothered me. If SS continued the line with just bad guys or other characters i'd still not be upset about the FS getting made. (but thats me)


And i agree, sell something else first.

On my detolf it is situated like this:

Legolas, Gandalf, Aragorn
Sam, Frodo, Gimli​

then on the shelf below that:

Faramir, Boromir
Merry (place warmer), Bilbo, Pippin (place warmer)
Gollum (DVD statue)​

Hopefully we get a good Merry and Pippin someday.

I wasn't going to do this until I saw there was also free shipping which made it a deal too good to pass up. I got an extra Sam and Frodo so now I feel ok about repainting the ones I already have and I'll have extra hobbit bodies ready for Pippin and Merry if/when they get made.

Problem is I have very limited display space but I was willing to give up an entire shelf for LotR. I guess thats why I was looking forward to the fellowship so much... now thats not happening, all that space for an unfinished line aint such a good idea. Its not even the fact that the whole fellowship didnt get made - no LotR 1:6 is being made!

I think you're right Krayt - switch up the display a bit maybe...

argh i caved in and got another hobbit. yikes i am going to end up with an army of them but they really are some of the best figures out there in my opinion and if you're thinking about customs while there are many body options for regular hieght you're limited with hobbit height
