LOL there's the top notch customer service we have come to expect from SS
That basically means they don't want to replace it. I've been told the same thing for a different item and then saw it listed on second chance two weeks later. They're probably tired of replacing it for you and would rather deal with a less critical collector.
They prolly saw their profits dipping w/ all the back and forth shipping on more than half they sent out..
