Well, I've been quiet on the old customizing front for a bit... but got inspired by the season and created a figure I thought would be fun. Now he's a WIP as I'm waiting for his permanent cape (thanks DA) and he's missing an obvious Equine accessory. But for now I'm happy with what I have, so I give you:

The Headless Horseman!!!
(And currently Horseless :lol)

A real simple custom... dragon boots and gloves painted black, scabbard and sword painted black, pants and shirt from DiD and dragon and a stand-in SSC cape. The head is just a sculpey neck stump I made and painted-up.

:rock :rock :rock

Now that's creative! You should make a 1/6th pumpkin to go with him.

And I bet the Kurgan took his head!

Thats pretty damn cool J! You need to get a horse for him now. Sculpt a couple flaming pumpkins too:rock

:moon :moon :moon :moon

:lol :lol Damn, should have taken a picture with the Kurgan :banghead

I was thinking about adding a pumpkin, kind of forgot in the middle of working on him. Thanks for the reminder :rock I was going for more of a Disney look overall... not the more modern Burton/Amored look.

Horse is the next step for sure... I'm gonna steal Gruff Old Bear's technique and mod an old Marx horse. Get it painted black and looking more in character.

That is awesome GB! There really needs to be a 1:6 Horseman done by someone.

I might have to dig through the parts bin and see if I've got anything I can use...

wow great figure GB.
i agree a pumpkin would be awesome, even if he was just holding it or something. :rock

I'll get cracking on a pumpkin tonight... see if I can whip something together. I'm watching a couple auctions to see if I can score a steed.

Curse you GB. :lol

Now I really want to make my own. I think great minds think alike. GW does seem to have the right cape for his, as well as a few other parts.

Its a pretty easy figure... and honestly I found a lot of different stuff out there one could use to make a lot of different looks depending on how you wanted yours to turn out.

Although I do think GW's coat would be a great one to use... or even a Vader, I'm thinking I might get rid of the string on mine and replace it with a chain or something more imposing.

Just submitted this guy for the OSW "Create a Futuristic Space Villain" contest.

Victor Klubb was a bright young researcher whose knowledge of sea life and psychokenetics made him the perfect candidate to direct the Earth Alliance Science Lab on Aquarion 8.

Victor's work was groundbreaking! By developing the pyschic abilities of the planets native Octopi he was able to create a reliable, intelligent and loyal workforce. His work was hailed across the galaxy as a turning point in creating off-world underwater colonies.

However, in a freak lab disaster Victor was gravely wounded. And were it not for his advanced Octopi test subjects he would have surely died... although afterward that would long be his wish.

For the Octopi had done the best with what they could and were able to cobble together a stasis tube which they fused with one of their own. From this new body Victor would be able to live and carry on his work, and it provided a remote control link to his former human body.

Sadly the trauma of his change (and the influence of Octopus DNA) warped and twisted his once brilliant mind and transformed Victor Kulbb into...

Dr. TENTAKILL!!!

Now he is perverting his once promising work into an war machine! Creating an army of Octopi able to wield 8 weapons at a time and wreak untold havoc across the galaxy!!!
