Thanks for the feedback :duff And if you haven't check out the other entries in the contest... some really killer stuff.

clive as doctor f. took one for the team????..........:monkey2

Nah, he was sold a while back... this is a 2nd set of clothes I got off of DarthKry. And, on the plus side none of the stuff done to the figure permanenly affects the clothes so I can always use it for something else.

Not as long as a hiatus this time... but now I present to you a figure I've been wanting to make for a long time. This is my first Star Wars figure and where better to start than with a grail of the Vintage Kenner line...

Blue Snaggletooth!!!

The sculpt is original (see in progress shots at the bottom) and the boots (painted silver), body, gloves (repainted) and jumpsuit (dyed dark blue) are all from Dragon. Glass and blaster are Sideshow.

Appreciated :duff

And I definitely understand what you mean Jen :lol Although really there is a lot of room for improvement, but I have fun with these and that's what's important.

Very nice GB! I always get a kick out of your stuff, everything has a very "galactiboy" feel to it. I like your style.

Plus your stuff is never ordinary, its inspired and creative, always a surprise:rock

Always looking forward to your next creation!

I was thinking about that... only problem is I have no idea where I would find the right kind of suit. Snaggletooth was an easy one since I was able to find a "good enough" outfit. But I don't think there is anything out there in the correct size for the short version :monkey2

Great work mate! the sculpting is really coming along.
A little tip...(not that i'm an expert, just a newb) I don't know if you've heard of scrapbooking (all the women over here do it), but they have some great tools for that, which work really well with sculpting, such as round tip tools or various sizes really helps with the details, also there is a product called sculpy clay softener which you can dab/brush on before curing and helps smooth out the bumps or to make creases softer and more natural

I have not heard of the softener... that is one issue is that creases do tend to seem magnified after curing. Thanks for the tip :duff
