Thanks man! Still painting away... don't think he'll be done tonight, but I'll try and post at least one more update before turning in.

looks great so far GB...........i didn't have the courage to pull mine apart all the way, but i did separate his clothes & just stitched them back together in the back.

His joints were kinda loose when he showed up... so I just figured I'd crack him open and save myself the trouble. He snaps back together tightly so should be okay.

Final update for the night:

sweet looking...........yep this was an awesome hasbro figure that was let down by paint.

I really used to not believe the sculpts from them were very good... but the level of detail on him is very impressive. I think after a good repaint any company would be hard pressed to make a better 1/6 figure.

i think this was one of their best. i need to go back over mine as i was not to pleased with the final outcome. but my god this is a serious repaint from head to toe. but i did enjoy the process. now maybe the redo wont take as long because some parts came out ok.

Holy ^^^^ GB, you're a damn good painter! :google

Bravo! :)

Thanks man :duff

And I agree Barryo, there is just so much work on the figure... it seems straight forward but there's a lot of area to cover :lol

So I lied about new pictures... I put him together to see what he would look like. So, still not finished, but this is about what he'll look like. The eyes seem kind of dead, I think I need to darken them a bit or something.

And with that, I'm going to bed :wave

great job, GB :rock :rock ...but, it just doesn't have that GB touch, imo. hmmm....

Seems you are getting a lot of fun in making and painting figures :)

Don't know what you are going to do with the eyes, take your time, but for the rest he is already great.

And now sweet dreams :)

I will say one thing, having a Gamorrean Guard now makes me want to get that Han in Carbonite environment even more. I was kind of iffy on whether I really needed it... but I think the Guard would look cool standing next too it :rock

gammy looks good all together. im sure any tweaks will be icing on the cake. :rock

:clap

Damn J, you did an outstanding job!!!! Buy another one and make me one now :rock

^^^^in' Kurgans are a talented bunch of mo fos!!!!!!! :rock :rock :rock

Seems if you post enough the talent of the others starts to rub off on you :lol I'm knee deep in packing up ^^^^ right now, but still plan on finishing up Gammy later tonight.

BTW, as I was packing up Jabba I stuck him next to the Guard, looks great together. If these weren't so labor intensive I'd almost be tempted to do a 2nd one :lol

So got him done... today was just some touch-ups and painting the weapons. Funny thing is aside from the bottom his feet I don't think there wasn't a single spot of him not touched by paint.

So here he is:
