Two more figures have joined my family since my last post... Both picked up from board members (one here and one on Rebelscum)!!! The Wolverine figure is definitely as cool as everyone says he is... seriously one of the best realized 1/6 figures out there. And I'm actually really happy with the Origins Connor, I think he's actually a better representation than the modern version. I decided to turn his Jerkin inside out... and I think it looks better w/o all that excess material hanging around.

I agree... its surprising how nice he actually looks in person. I thought I'd be bothered by the exposed legs... but there pretty well covered so you never really notice them.

Nice Hauls man! Yeah, both of those figures are amazing... Never got the Connor... as badly as I wanted one.

I should try and find one now though, with ****** on the Horizon. :D

:rock :rock :rock :rock :rock :rock

MY thoughts exactly and even as a stand alone figure he's pretty damn cool... just wish he came with the shield and nasty fur coat. I bet if Sideshow had ever stepped-up they would have made one of those the exclusive item so you could recreate the scene.

your collection is awsome, the assortment and wide range of toys and collectables is INSANE, I CANT BELIEVE YOU HAVE A KRANG!
:lol

Thanks Gbeef!

I just got that Krang recently... He'd been on my list of figures to get for years but always seemed to elude me :monkey2

Finally figured out how I wanted to display the Hot Toys Superman... nothing fancy but he seems to be wasted just standing on a shelf.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I thought this one worked well for him.

BTW, he also looks quite nice in forward flight poses, but I liked this one better for now.

Now, I know this won't interest everybody...

But a big collecting focus for me is on Kinnikuman figures, which were the originator/Japanese release of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. In the US there were 236 different M.U.S.C.L.E. figures released, but in Japan there were nearly 200 more!

Most are fairly inexpensive, around $5 a piece, but some of the Japanese figures (called Kinkeshi) have sold for up to $1500!?! So after giving you a preface, here is my collection that is currently 33 figures away from complete...

Enjoy:

WOW!! That's a great kollection!! Not what I'm into, but they are a sight!! Kongrats!!!!! Hope you are able to get the remaining pieces to have a komplete kollection. Are the ones you are missing the ones that you said are going for $1500??

Thanks Jen!

Luckily not... the figures were released in sets number 1-30. First released in the pink/fleshy color, and then later orange, yellow, green and blue. The coin released as part of set 30 in the original pink color is very rare and has sold for that much, and some of the others in pink from pt 30 can get into the hundreds.

Luckily, I just want one of each figure, and since I'm not worried about color I can get the remaining figures I want for closer to $50 for the more expensive ones.

What $1500 looks like to a Kinkeshi collector:

Are you serious?? that thing goes for $1500?

I used to have a bunch of these little guys when I was a kid, no idea what happened to them all.

Yep, up to that amount. Its the holy grail of the series... pretty crazy, but that collectors for ya :lol And just for size reference, these things are about 1 3/4" tall.

I haven't seen these in years. I must have had over a hundred M.U.S.C.L.E. figures when I was a kid...I have no idea what I did with those either. Ah good times, good times.:D
