The M.U.S.C.L.E. figures are actually what got me back into collecting. I had about 100 or so, then learned about other collectors and eBay and the disease was solidified. After I completed the US sets I moved into trying to get all of the Japanese ones... that was about 7 years ago

Okay, haven't updated in awhile... not because I haven't been buying stuff. No, actually running/ran out of room. But anyway, here's my new stuff:

Got Kit Fisto, even though he's in the back corner he's still a sweet ass figure...

Got the Tao Invincible Bull figure; companion piece to the Monkey King... but not nearly as nice

Added Ripley to the crew...

Still have the Uni Monsters on top, but I've added Wolfman and The Mummy

My Medicom Collection is growing... recently added Jack Sparrow

Got Boromir through the waitlist, its funny because Legolas made Aragorn look bad, but for some reason when I added Boromir Aragorn started looking good again... like he made sense now?!?

And while not in my room, my 80's Star Wars Micro-collection sets

Finally and most important of all:

Signature Edition Kurgan Sword!!!

Now, I know this won't interest everybody...

But a big collecting focus for me is on Kinnikuman figures, which were the originator/Japanese release of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. In the US there were 236 different M.U.S.C.L.E. figures released, but in Japan there were nearly 200 more!

GB, I used to have a *****load of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures when I was a kid. After seeing yours, I wish I still had them. They are bad ass!

Yeah, for some reason I always liked those little dudes. And as I've said before trying to complete a set of these (starting back in '99) really got me into collecting figures again hardcore

I loved that micro Death Star playset when I was kid.

I actually still need the trash compactor... I have all the figures that would go with it, but not the actual playset. But I have 2 Death Stars Escapes

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I just can't wait for the day when I have a larger room or **gasp** a basement to go crazy in! I'm happy with the current set-up but I have a lot of (nearly) as cool stuff that just doesn't make the cut to be displayed

Your desire to finish this collection makes me feel like I've abandoned all my other lines, especially the older ones. I guess I have. Besides 1/6 and JLU, I don't buy much anymore. When it comes to new stuff, there's a good reason--there's nothing out there that's not crap (the Spider-man 3 swag makes me wanna punch a Hasbro executive). But I used to buy older stuff all the time on eBay. Well I'm goin' back to my roots, dammit! I need to finish one of the greatest lines of the 1980's: THUNDERCATS!

It's not gonna be easy. Or cheap. Ben Gali alone goes for the price of a decent hooker, but I will not be deterred!

Thanks Jen! I really want to finish the set, but unfortunately the last ones I need are really the most expensive ones... right now I'm just trying to justify the cost and having to spread it out a bit.

And on an interesting note it turns out that coin wasn't the most expensive one out there... this guy is part of a "fan based" series and just sold for $1620!?! And I guess the flesh ones from that series can get closer to $2000
