Just got mine yesterday and love it. My only question is about where his "ears" are. There seems to be be some gold speckles just in this area. It looks like the paint may not have been applied properly, but I only notice it in these two areas. It sort of looks like I might be seeing it in the close up from the close up pic in kisspidde's post. Is this supposed to look like this? Has anyone else noticed this? After years of collecting with no issues, my last three purchases have had problems. I don't want to send it back if I don't have to. Thanks.

Yep I have those gold "flicks" as well. I assume it's supposed to be this way. What are some of the numbers you guys get?

Thanks WM. On closer inspection, the picture on the box seems to look the same way. I don't know why it's like that but as long as it seems across the board I'm keeping it. I think I got #109 by the way.

I picked up #49 Exc on ebay and freakin jumpin. Why?

I own the HH Silver surfer #48 chrome and the #49 painted. I also own the Fantastic Four 9.4 CGC #48 (Silver Surfer and Galactus first apperance) , FF 9.2 CGD #49 (Silver Surfer and Galactus first cover apperarance), and the FF 9.0 CGC #50 (part three of three of the three).

This just rounds off the collection nicely. If there was #48 Exc I would pick that up, and sell the #49. The #49 came in mint, with shipper collectors box, etc.

Picked it up from apeng_ii on ebay.

Paid a bit more than Quad, $499.

Has anyone checked to see if the Galactus LSB will fit in a Detolf with a shelf removed? Based on Sideshow's measurements it should, but I know they have been not so accurate in the past. And of course, I know it has to go on the bottom, due to weight.

How are the LCS with returns, especially when you order by mail? SS offers such excellent customer service I buy through there or a LCS that offers the same return. Is it that much cheaper than going through SS?

True, Sideshow have unparalleled customer service and safe shipping too, however for me in the U.K, i save $$$'s going through play.com. I wait a little longer but its free shipping in the U.K on everything. I buy all my Sideshow stuff from them. I just use Sideshow for exclusives...

I believe he would fit...but personally I think he looks better on top! Looking down on everything!
