Galadriel PF

I think most folks just aren't all that excited about Galadriel being given the PF treatment. Couple that with, at least from one image shown, a poor likeness, and I can understand the lackluster reception.

QFT Thats what hit me the hardest, ......Galadriel the next PF......eh....*opens picture* yeah ok pass.

Interesting approach taken with those images. I like to see the direct comparison to the film image upon which the sculpt was based.

The likeness certainly looks alot better from these images.

It looks like Cate has a little bit of a big nose in that top second pic.

Look at those images and at the 360 for me it just solidifies that idea that it doesn't look anything like Cate. I don't see her likeness at all in the pics especially in the 360.....it looks like the sculpt was close but not a home run and that proto paintjob ruined the likeness completely. I may be in the minority but I'm passing definitely now, I'm a little disappointed as I'm a fan of the character....

I just don't see Cate's likeness. I think the nose looks too large in every one of those photos.

I do see a pretty accurate likeness in the still photo's, but definitely not so much in the QTVR and I do believe as noted above this could be a paint app's issue.

I think the likeness is almost dead on, you can really tell how much it DOES look like cate from the unpainted sculpt. For those who don't agree here is somewhat a comparison pic

And as I said before it is ALL in the paint that is ruining the good sculpt by Oluf

The likeness is there, its just being hidden by an atrocious paintjob, IMO

However, I tend to agree that the nose needs to be ever so slightly smaller.

After looking at the 360 she really looks very generic in the face... I think its more a function of paint than sculpt as the raw sculpt looks very good.

If anything, the 360 does reveal the awesome material detail on her outfit. Now, as much as the proto material looks great, I will hold off on the purchase until the production pics are out. This, based on how they switched materials on the GTW PF.

looks good but that nose looks like a man's nose.
