That is just plain sucks Val. I will likely avoid any international sellers for many reasons unless I know them for sure. Just too risky.

there are still some honest collectors out there you know ... ;-)

then he should PM a mod in the commerce section

I have sent PM to Mod. as seller created scene before stating he is honest & will refund my money instantly after receiving statue ....which he didnt. I want to answer from seller & also i want my money back..... as i think all members should get aware of situation i dont want same things to happen with my freaks friends......1030$ is really big amount at-list for me its big amount & i should get my full refund of 800$ which i have paid to seller.

It's funny how the seller previously posted that he is an honest seller with great feedback while posting it on that other thread. Personally, I have an issue with the seller which no longer is communicating with you after the statue is sent back. Regardless of outcome, If Paypal declines your refund, you need to take this up to your credit card company (but I don't think they will).

I know you have pics of the parcel sent back to the seller & you also have the delivery confirmation or tracking number for the return.

You should make a note that the parcel that you originally recieve had a certain weight. The item you sent back should be the same weight also. This will tell your credit card company, that the purchase item has been returned.

I would also make a claim with your countries customs to get your brokerage & taxes back. They can not be charge taxes when you return the item back to the seller.

The only money you should lose out is the shipping cost you sent back to the seller.

Dhaval, take this as a learner curve and I hope this works out for you.

Wow I'm kind of surprise that the seller is not responding? I thought he was a friend. I won't jump in a say he's a scam just yet. I'm hoping that he will say something.

Paypal reversed payment of 540EUR so i will get 540 EUR within 30 days. Just called to paypal about 100 EUR they said ask seller to refund direct to me since i was unable to open dispute for 100EUR ......

Call your credit card company to get your other $100 EUR back & make sure you file your claim to get back your custom & taxes. This needs to be done ASAP!

All the best. I hope everything works out well

You're still hanging onto that, aren't you? :D

Neo.

:lol Nan.... Quad offer to send her daughter my way :monkey1

well, at least half the money is safe, should have asked for at least 100 euros as refund before returning, well, hope ur CC can take care of it, with paypal reversing decision maybe it ll be easier to convince the CC company

Hi Dhaval, i remember the thread that was opened by the Seller claiming that HE had been stung by you! I made it quite clear that i wasnt taking sides as it was extremely difficult, even from the pics, to tell which of you was telling the truth. I also remember him making a promise to you, just before the thread was closed, that he would honour the transaction and refund you as soon as he had recieved the damaged statue. However, before we can make judgement on the seller, we have to give him the benefit of the doubt, is he on holiday? Did he sign for it personally? Is he aware that it has been returned? I know you have tried to get in touch with him but i'm not sure how long you have given him to respond to your messages - at least 2 weeks would suffice in my opinion. If it has been over the 2 weeks then it is totally unacceptable that he has now gone against his word and not re-payed you....and maybe this at last can give you the answer you were looking for all this time...that the statue was damaged in the first place and you were telling the truth from day one. My sympathy goes out to you Dhaval, as i said in the other thread, let this be a painful learning curve my friend...best of luck in resolving the whole thing.
