Yeah, been very bz, I post at work mostly. :( I'll get to taking some pics sometime but weekends are crazy with the kid now.

It's all good bro, still nice that you're able to hang around. :1-1:

Amazing, just phenomenal stuff :rock

What camera IS DAT!!!!!??!?

Thanks Ski and my camera is a secret BUT I can tell you that it's an SLR and it's from the Canon camp :monkey1

Wasn't home to sign for it so I had to drive to UPS to pick it up. Box wasn't as big as I thought it would be. 629/750.....yea kinna high.

So, i got this guy finally. Like Mr. Green had to drive to UPS and pick it up. I was kinda afraid cause I felt movement in the box. Turns out, its just how the base is packaged. Its in the front part of the packaging separate from the rest of the statue and can flop slightly forward or backwards. NO issues at all Im happy to report.

One question though, my exclusive arm/hand is slightly loose. It stays fine, but the slightest pressure makes it settle a bit lower and droop slightly. Not really noticable to the eye, I can just feel it and it worries me that it might let loose all together and fall some day.

Doesnt seem to be an issue with the regular hand, and Im thinking maybe its just a common issue because of the weight of the exclusive. Has anyone else had this issue? If I'm the only one Im gonna contact Sideshow, but other wise it seems to be fine.

Ah my Gambit Ex is almost perfect as it is. No googly eye on both head. The charged up card on the Ex hand is perfect. The charge up card are so light, I don't see how it would sag over time. It feels polystone and is heavy at the base of the forearm as it should be yet light on the end of the hand. The charged up kinetic energy on the card are so light it feels almost like plastic. I have to admit you can wiggle horizontally, slightly, between the two fingers on both hand. If I want to remove the card, there's not much of a resistence.....I just don't plan on doing it.
The only negative part is there's a minor paint chips, the size of a sand grain, between the two fingers of the regular card. Its below the card and you would have to be living between his fingers to noticed it. Permanent glue or dark marker would solve the little issue easy. Not enough of a problem to request compensation or refund. Also the base, as some already doesn't like it, is huge. Its not the kind of base, like the Emma Frost PF base, where the character would have to tip-toe on.
This is a PF statue that doesn't feels like a dolls or over dressed statue, despite the full fabric coat.

I have no problem with the card hand at all. Its magnetic and yes if I press down on the card hand it bend down slightly, by the forearm connection, and return to norm after I let go. Even if somehow the whole forearm sags over time, the magnetic connection is long and strong enough that it won't look droopy. Especially since the whole arm is covered by the fabric sleeve. His whole arm is raised by like 10 degrees and when I pressed down it still looks 5 degrees raised.

Mine doesnt return to normal after I let it go. It stays sagged down. Don't think it could fall out, but the magnet just doesnt seem to be as strong in that arm as the regular. Is that a reason to go to Sideshow? Im thinking Ill let it go, but part of me thinks...why not contact them....

I love the cigarite head. Love the charged up card too...but strange only the top card have the black ace of spade. The rest of the card are blanks. All the card have the normal card design on the bottom. The fabric coat is free flowing; no wire here.
Can't wait for the Rogue PF Ex to match this. :banana:banana:banana:banana

Really? My coat has a fine wire mesh throughout so that its semi-posable, Even the synch belt has a fine wire in it to make it partially posable.

I gotta say, I rolled up his sleeves a bit so I can see his arms! Glad they are painted and all!

I checked both of my Gambit Ex's arm and its strong no doubts. Both return to norm fast. Its up to you. If its up to me I wouldn't worry about it. The whole arm is covered in fabrics. Place a paper wedge at the bottom of the connection if you feel needed. This particular piece will actually hold itself up due to gravity and angle. If this arm is like -10 degree lower, from horizontal point, then I would worry.
My only concern is the loose card on the regular hand and slight paint chip. But I can also understand how hard it is to get the kind of details at this miniscule level.
All-in-all, I am still happy with my purchase. This is a statue not toys. I will box it up once my Hulkbuster Ex comiquette arrive(in 2 months). And the Hulk Ex comiquette after that.

Oh shiat....Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!

LOL, I checked and it does have a fine, fine wire at the edge of the coat. Also have it on the sleeve, belt too. Damn its so fine, I didn't even noticed it.:rotfl

After seeing this statue in person...I realize what's missing from my collection. GAMBIT LSB!!!!!! The smoking head and same costume! Would that not make an unbelievable LSB????

I just hope that when Sideshow does it...they don't do the long haired hippie Gambit!

Dude! I'd be all over a Gambit LSB. That would be sick!

Got mine today. Damn this is a great piece. I'm glad I wound up getting it, even if it was an accident. I gotta do some rearranging, but I think he is going to look badass next to my Logan PF. Two guys ready to kick ass and not worried about getting cancer while doing it. :lol

As for the exclusive hand, the kinetic charge really makes the piece, but I feel like they overdid it a bit. I would prefer him to be holding just one charged card and a little less kinetic energy fowing off of it.
