I thought they would announce this during SDCC so it was a bit of a good surprise for me that they announce this earlier than I expected. Wondering whether there will be an Ex Edition and if there is, what will the extra item be?

They probably figure it's not going to be as big a deal for people as other figures, or that the ex. won't be anything PPO worthy, if there even is one.

I like it but it will depend on th price. I have to alo more selective in my purchases now . I'd much rather have Cody, Yoda , Dooku , Snow Tooper, Tusken Raider, Biker Scout, Tarkin, Hammerhead ect... that have been shown in the production blogs and ar in development .

From the preview photo it seems that they used some leather-like material for the chest area, so I can't imagine that they would go with a sculpted skirt.

I'd agree... looks like a material outfit to me. And if Hasbro produced a Gammy with soft goods, no way Sideshow would cheap out.

i think it will be interesting to see how sideshows stacks up against some of the re-painted gammys. hasbro's wasn't all that bad except for paint.

The hindered articulation wasn't too great either, so I'm hoping Sideshow's has improved that area too.

Seriously, though, in life, people have different skin tones. So I can easily imagine that there will be some variation in the skin tone from one Gamorrean to another.

I suppose, but that strikes me as kind of a lame excuse. We buy these things because we want what we saw in the films, not some theoretically possible version of the character. That's not to say that the paint job is a deal killer or anything, but why not get it right? Unless this is already a production sample?

From looking at the first image. I would imagine the articulation would be fairly similar to Hasbro so as not to have visible joints.

But I could see a cut joint at the top of the bicep and possibly ball jointed shoulders being added. Also, fingers crossed they add a ball jointed neck.

Looks like he'd be the same from the waist down, which is okay with me as Gammy's weren't the most mobile characters.
