I see no problems with the look of Hot Toys arms and legs, so I'm not sure why Sideshow was worried about joints.
I'm really gonna have to let other people figure this guy out, before I take the plunge. It doesn't sound like much of his articulation is 'useful' apart from the shoulders and neck. I don't like $120 statues.

I'm not really sure what purpose one would have for knee articulation on this figure.
Enough said! I totally agree, you've summed up my thoughts.I usually just choose a pose that looks good and leave it there, so I've found myself gravitating more to statues. For me, the main attraction for these figures is that there are so many characters that you're not likely to see statues for. Other people, however, love to pose their figures a lot, making little diorama scenes and maybe taking pictures of them, so I can see why articulation would be more important for them.
I think it was a good decision by SS not to articulate the knees and elbows, how dynamic are these guys anyway???
Unless you want to put him crawling away from the Rancor of course !!!
True. I mean how many people would really use action poses for them. Although an elbow joint would have been useful. I'm not really upset though. I expected him to be more expensive than he is, more joints may have made him cost more.
