That screams rotocast which is no bad thing but it doesn't look that much better than the old Hasbro one...
I'm still gonna get one, but it'll be to complement my Hasbro repaint

I think it promises to be better proportioned and without question better painted than Hasbro's.

The Hasbro one had an excellent sculpt for them - just that paint job was beyond awful!!!

Yeah a decent repaint on a hasbro and it looks damn good.

Not much better than the Hasbro one? This thing would be better compared to the Attakus statue. The Hasbro sculpt is fine if your standards for accuracy are at a certain level.

Repaints can make the Hasbro look great for sure, but overall, I think the proportions are much improved on Sideshow's, the Hasbro seems a bit too bulky and the head a bit oversized to the body.

People are also less picky about non-human likenesses, except for maybe Aliens and Predator.

Rotocast = vinyl. Like those squishy dog toys. Jabba and I think Bubo are both roto.

If the gammy is 100% roto, I may pass and get him later on. It won't feel right paying $120+ for a lightweight figure.

If he is rotocast, which seems likely, I would hope that he would be cheaper than a figure with a full outfit and articulated body, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

No, the prototype isn't even finished, I'd guess his appearance in the Spook video is as far along as he is right now, anything complete is being shown complete in the videos.

As far as price for a Gammy, I'd say $100-$100, even though it'd be roto, it'd still have a detailed paint job, leather bits in the costume, furring on his garbs.

Sorry, I only threw the "$120" out there as a wild guess. In all likelihood, the figure is still not finished and won't be available for preorder for another couple of months. But that's also speculation.
