Gandalf 12" up for order!

I just re-ordered the Exclusive that I cancelled yesterday.

BUT....

I used Rewards Points to make it $60!

So, I will be paying what I feel this figure is worth. Ha, Sideshow... HA!

Rory, you don't see Gandy in this? I think this is the one area that he shines.

That picture really shows off the sculpt better. I don't know if it's the angle or what but that really is Gandalf. However, it leads me to believe that the paint might be killing the sculpt or it's just not working from the front view. I don't know but I still don't think I will go through with this purchase. I am one of those that believes the price is a bit high.

Hi Res of that shot is particularly nice looking, I didn't notice the pipe-stand before either That's pretty cool.

Awesome pic Josh. I never noticed that they have Gandalf's pipe stuffed into the top of his staff like in the movies. Thats just awesome.

Thanks for posting the hi-res Josh. The pattern is printed on his culottes or his 'baggy pants' if you prefer but sadly you can't see it in even the hi-res shot. His beard and robe cover up some of the tailoring details.

Oh for God's sake all of you, you live in a country where gas is the price of generic cola and where an itunes track costs 99 cents. For God's sake Gandalf is a bargain at £45. For all of you that think he's too expensive then bugger off and let us true LOTR fans get our exclusive figure.
Maybe Zizzle will produce something for you! And then of course the LOTR line will disappear because there is no support......damn! Never thought of that!

OK So although i am very old and incredibly rich and price means nothing to me, please order all the LOTR things because I want a full collection and I want it now.

The bonus Indy head and Pro body justifies his price. If Gandalf had the same the price would be right.

At least one of the Gandalf heads looks like Sir Ian, but neither of the Indy heads looks like Ford. Is it the paint? At least Gandalf was painted during the week. Ford looks like he was painted on a Friday. By that I mean, drinks at lunch time and let's finish early.

It's the proto paint creech. Take a peek at the unpainted Indy sculpt. It's as good as Gandy.

Yeah I know Coco. The sculpt is a super job by Trev. I can't believe Sideshow are putting up these pics of Indy. I feel sorry for poor Trev, whose hands are tied and is held mute. Easy rectified with an expensive repaint, but that's just my point. Gandalf wont need a repaint. It'll be one of those figures that will be great, straight from the box to your shelf.
