Yeah, it's a pretty large edition size, will probably convert if you hop on. Even so, he will start getting harder to get once people see more in hand pics of the brilliant Ex head.

I got my Gandalf the Grey yesterday and he is amazing...unfortunately he arrived with a broken staff.

Hopefully sideshow can just send a replacement arm/staff so I don't have to send the entire thing back..

I went ahead and ordered the regular. Was going to wait, but decided to just take the money out of the savings and go ahead and make the purchase. He'll be bought sooner or later!

I'm going to call Sideshow this morning to have them charge my final flexpayment and ship this puppy out now! Now I just need to hit the Xmas stores to find a 1:4 scale Santa hat for the exclusive head...

Well, opened mine up today. Hands down one of the best PF's done this year yet alone one of the best in the LOTR line. The hatless head is nice and I definitely see some use as it would be nice to switch it up once in a while. Superb tailoring, one of the best weathering I have seen on the robes and paintwork is top notch. Light up feature is nice as well. Unfortunately, Gandalf is too tall to fit in my display case so back in the box he goes until I can find a spot for him.

And I don't know about everyone else but this has to be THE MOST UNSTABLE statue I have ever had. Normally one peg is enough, but the problem is the peg on the front foot, because if it was on the back foot it may have been more stable since the weight is shifting to the front anyways.

You never know if you don't try... the Reg. will be around for a bit.. SS holds a certain amount back to be available for any possible returns in case of damage. after a bit the extras will be made available to wait listers or if there are not enough of those ... second chance....get on the EX NOW!!

Go for it! I've only had one out of ten or so wait list reservations not convert, so I'd say the odds are good. Obviously, the sooner, the better.

More than likely; I got on the WL for this one about 6 weeks ago, and it converted within 2 weeks.

Well, here doesn't has Gandalf. I just arranged my display for him. He is comeing next Tuesday.

No Gandalf for me today. My UPS driver always shows up around 4-5pm...has for the past 4 years. Of course today he shows up at 11am when no one is home. Guess I'll have to wait til tomorrow.

I just got my reg. #51. He's outstanding. Easily one of the best PFs in my collection. I'm so glad i decided to keep my order instead of the statue.

Let's be fair, the statue isn't out yet and i dig the pose but the size and the multi media of the PF is just awesome.
