I'm looking forward to seeing this new LotR PF. Me too, I prefer the the Gandalf the Grey character, but I bet SSC is going to do an outstanding job on Gandalf the White. I'll miss his pointy hat though... Couldn't that be included as the exclusive item?

I just can't wait for this one. Gandalf is my favorite LOTR character (Aragorn & Legolas a close 2nd and 3rd). I'll take Gandalf either way--white or grey!!!

Sideshow is an in touch collectibles company. They knew the natives were getting restless. Glad they broke the traditional schedule to reassure this line is on solid ground. Gandalf, if done right, will certainly be a flagship piece.

The best GTW pose would be the scene were they are drawing Saruman out of Theoden.

That being said, I am glad its GTW and not GTG because I want GTG in 1:6 ASAP!!!

Kudos to SS for listening and responding in a postive way. Should be one great figure. My first thought also was that Grey would have been better but then I realized I already had the NECA giant version and that was pretty darn good for the money so White will be more than welcome. Hoping that the next two are Dark Galadriel and a bad guy - maybe a Nazgul.

I think the 12" line is where you are going to be able to get a full set of the Fellowship in their film one outfits.

The White outfit is more elaborate and detailed and better suited for the PF line, which showcases the fancier costumes. And it feels like the Grey version has been done more. The White will have a tiny bit less of the "been there, done that" response from collectors--plus it can have a more dynamic pose as well, since GtW was more of an action hero than GtG.
