Glad you guys got your PF, now where is the new 1/6 figure?

Let's see--the last 12" figure was announced in December of 2006. Let's add 14 months to that so that 12" collectors have to endure the same wait that the PF collectors have experienced, and then they will announce the next 12" in February of 2008 at Toy Fair, with a preorder later that year.

I think eventually we will get all the Fellowship in both costume versions they had in each line. The trying different ones out early is no bother. I'll get them and have both versions to show the dymanic of this line.

I will be buckled in for PreOrder day on this one. Although I will admit unless the Exclusive is impressive I'll be going with an etailer on this. I am certain that Gandalf the Grey is our next 1/6 and that is what I'm really waiting on. Gandalf is definitely my favorite LOTR character.

Yes, I agree. I was just kidding about the 14 month wait. Let's hope that never happens to anybody again. Although it will actually be more than 14 months between preorders, but I am cutting them slack because they caved in to the pressure and gave us the big reveal this week.

Khev got us started on page one (the Moth) - but let's hear some more speculation on what an exclusive might be. I'm having trouble coming up with anything interesting.

Yeah, that would be a good one. Could also be something like the staff lighting up as it did when he left MT in ROTK.

I would LOVE to see this pose.

I hate to rain on every-one's parade and bring this happy occasion down but just to remind you all, Snowbunny Padme was pre-previewed on August 17, 2006 and she still hasn't been made available for order let alone shipping. We're still far away from actually getting this guy. At least I'm going to SDCC this year and can actually see the prototype in person.

My point is, I'm still sad about the pace of this line.

He'll PO probably right around the time of SDCC and ship sometime around the end of 07 start of 08.

Good idea. Or maybe the exclusive will just be something simple but highly desirable like interchangeable sword for staff.

Josh - I like that pose a lot. It will be interesting to see if they go more "regal", eg. the original Sideshow Weta GtW, or a fighting pose.

Yeah, the pose should be intersting. I hope it at least has a bit of action to the look of the pose.

I would be surprised if he didn't come with both sword and staff... Come to think of it he will probably be posed as in the scene in ROTK where he is whapping orcs left and right with both sword and staff. That would be cool.
