Hmm . . .I don't recall GTW ever having a light-up feature in any movie. GTG had that option available.

It may be sour grapes, but a combo of Frodo's Light-up Sting, and GTG's Light-up staff would be a wicked combo along the same Moria theme. Sideshow could have had a run-away hit and much more Frodos sold quicker in retrospect had they announced it this way. As I said, if Star Wars PFs got away with that, why can't LOTR! Perhaps SS could offer a replacement for Frodo's Sting to make it a light-up!

On that note, a Coronation Arwen (with flag) alongside a Gondor Gates Aragorn would be another awesome PF combo announcement. That or the costumes they had when they were at Rivendell.

It would be impossible to make one the exclusive. The two are so utterly different that they would have to be completely separate figures. Even the sculpts would have to be different. It's completely impossible.

If that does indeed happen, there will be riots in the streets.

It's one thing to make a variant Grey Hulk. But, to do a varaint Gandalf the Grey super-limited would be just wrong.

Way too many differences for GtG to be the exclusive. Completely different costume, not just a color change - different hair and beard style, etc. Why make it an exclusive when they'll be able to sell a full run of it later?

Gandalf is one of the few that I would break the repeat rule for. The change is so vast, despite being more or less the same person, that they've just got to make both.

As for the exclusive, I say either the cloak, or, if he's in a very neutral pose, give him his Elven Ring. VERY cool exclusive. Or even a wearable one on a special stand?

Possibly, although that seems more fitting for Saruman's exclusive item. I've been trying to think of what his exclusive item could be but nothing is coming to me.

I hope it's not the cloak. That would really hurt the regular version.
