Yeah, sadly gas prices are crazy all over right now its $3.22 here and expected to go up more especially by summer to close to $4. I know its higher other places but for my small town thats pretty high. No wonder the oil companies are making record profits.

And there's honestly no reason for it other than speculation.

I almost bought a scooter last year. I just may this year. They have Vespa ones that get 100 miles per gallon. That would work great for me in town.

If only it was that cheap in the UK. The Current price here works out at about $9.85 a gallon!

Yeah, speculation is a large part of it. There is so much BS around the oil/gas industry its not even funny.

Speculators play an important role in regulating supply and demand. I don't see how it's BS.

I don't know about anyone else but I collect within my means. I like to think I am pretty smart with my money where if gas prices go up it is not going to negatively affect my collecting or put me into debt.
