I see only problems and arguments happening if this option is turned on. I am very guilty of running around a corner at the same time as my teammate comes from the other side and I fire my shottie into them. Now with it turned off it is harmless but turn it on and that teammate aint gonna be none too happy. So I guess you can count me out if its turned on.

You're kidding? Why would argue? If you kill a team member it's an accident. It just makes you be more careful instead of blind firing all over the place.....Especially with Mortar or Boom. It's just more tactical and no one is saying we should play with it on all the time. Just change things once in a while.

Isn't friendly fire always on in Halo 3 or is it an option? From what I remember when I first started playing online with you guys on Halo 3 as a wet behind the ears noob, I accidentally shot some teammates. No one ever freaked out about it. Maybe it's because I didn't actually kill them just fired a few shots into them but it was all good.

I don't care what weapon I get killed with. For the record you have only killed me a few times with the mortar. Team kill being on adds to the strategy of the game. You can't just blindly press B and get a free ride. You are only saying you wouldn't like it if team kill was turned on because you would take out half of your team.

I also think it would heighten communication. Your team would have to direct your fire. This is more realistic IMO and adds to the experience.

It just makes it more of a pain in the butt from my POV. I don't think its a free ride really. I have to guage how far back folks are and fire it. Plus its a heavy weapon and not quick to drop which gets you killed somewhat easy.

Well Josh, I like playing the game w/o either just whoring for 1 weapon EVERY single round it's on a map or just trying to stop said weapon whore from getting it.

I might grab snipe a lot, but I don't whore for it the way I did on Gears 1. Everything get boring after a while. You either rush mortar or plant frag grenades and hide near them almost EVERY round. That's how you choose to play and that's fine, but that gets boring to me after a while.

We never play with team kill on so there is nothing wrong with mixing it up. If you choose not to play because we change something from time to time then that is your choice.

Why is that a problem though? If we're good at using those why should we stop just to make it easier for you (general use)?

If there's a Mortar I go for it thats true but again I rarely get frags. If I do its usually after I've run around for a while and they've come back. 95% of my kills come with the Lancer on 2 and I'm getting better again with the Snipe and Torque. So its not like I don't use anything else since I'm pretty good at getting at least 7-8 kills a round.

You guys can mix it up but I won't play with that on at all. I don't find that feature fun nor worth my time.

You can just lob the mortar all over the map and get lucky anymore. You might take half your team out by mistake. Honestly, that's why I hate the mortar So much. It's a ni skill, no tactics weapon when team kill is off. Just rush, lob and get lucky with no consequences.

I love it how using Frags, Boom, Mortar is no skill. Some of you guys crack me up. My goal is to kill everyone on the other team if possible. I don't give a ^^^^ how I do it nor care if it has skill to it. Some of you more "skilled" players just have to deal with it.

Coming from you I find this too funny. How many times have you quit cause the night isn't going your way for one reason or another. I find it sad that some have to ^^^^^, moan, and groan every night they play.

We deal with it and play anyway don't we? Sadly you can't deal with changing something ONCE IN A WHILE with out taking your ball and going home.

I loved playing oddball on Halo some people didnt I hated playing king of the hill some people did but I never said a word to them or told them you have to play it my way or I'm leaving. Like I said thats a pretty ^^^^ty thing to say.

I found out WHY I have had SO many ridiculous issues and ditched my router. I have played well since, but at least I still played even though everything was set up just the way I like it. To bad you can't say the same.

Since when? I might ^^^^^ at myself but you got me beat on crying and moaning. I've only quit once or twice in the entire time we've played Gears. You on the other hand usually quit couple times a week. There is no enjoyment for me in playing with that option on. I play to have fun and if its not I got other things I can do.

Remember we tried it and me and Karma ended up on the recieveing end of a shotgun blast to the back of the skull not once but twice for me and three times for Karma. Like I said I have no problem with you guys playing with it on and having fun no problem at all just to count me out of it.

Being a man of strategy dont you see the irony of your statement? I myself like strategy. Hence my recommendation. So can you explain to me the strategy of being able to plant said grenades or blindly fire a mortar and not having consequences for your actions should you shoot a teamate?
