For Ill and Karma, pics of the Mindzeye Marcus. Keep in mind these were taken quickly at the office without proper lighting or setup, so they aren't great... I'll try to get better ones this weekend.

You know, I think this is the "real" issue... we are all so competitive that we just can't stand to be "killed" by someone else, especially friends!

No Lonnie because if we were trying to play competitive and equal we would make weapons even and turn on FF. :monkey3:lecture

I'm not taking my ball and going home. I'm just saying if thats something folks want to do one night I'll take the night off. I'm not obligated to join and play just because.

Sorry but that attitude just plain sucks. When your students don't like something do you allow them to walk out the room and quit?

Seriously even Halo we ALL played maps that we didn't want to play or game types. It is part of playing with friends online. I do consider us all friends for the most part but to hear comments like that just rubs me the wrong way. It is very much so I will take my ball and go home. Sugar coat it anyway you want.

I have no problem nor do I even care what maps we play or game modes when someone suggests it. If I spoke up one night prior to this whole FF argument and someone suggested wingman mode and I said that I hated it and I am quitting I think others would be just as taken back.

We are all friends. This ^^^^ is getting out of hand. Two piece this, chainsaw that, you got this weapon, and so on.

Want a cookie?

Yeah Keith, don't you know that only the people on the OTHER side of the table are right and allowed to have their feelings and opinions voiced? You should accept what they want and how they want to play and shut up about what you want and how you want to play.

Nick- you douche! ;)

:rotfl:rotfl You dirty bastard, my torque bounced off of his chest right before that happened too.

As for the weapon whoring or complaining after getting killed....I may complain a little bit after getting killed, but it's all in jest. I rarely actually get mad, but I think that we as a group do get pissed off when we die. It's weird though, hardly anybody says "that was a good shot, nice job." I find that kinda funny.

If you want a weapon or try one for a little bit, just say it during the match. We aren't going to say "No, I want it, so you can't have it." If you want it, just tell your team

I enjoy killing you, 'cause you are a douche! :)

I thought you sold your 360 anyway?

There's nothing to drop, Bagels.

My point is that there is no way to get unanimously agreed upon,'fair' and 'good' kills in this game. There will always be complaining about something.

I honestly don't really like playing the game. I just like playing with you guys, and most of the time you play Gears 2. I would much rather play L4D.

I have 3 problems regarding 2 piecing:

1. Gamers that were extremely all round competent before 2 piecing seemed to have switched to solely this
2. People that apologise for doing it yet continue to do it even though their stats haven't improved by using it
3. People that moan about it yet occasionally use it because everyone else does

I never have 2 pieced & I think my stats compare favourably to most 2 piecers which shows you can get by without 2 piecing

Yeah, that is pretty rare.

Thanks Bagels for the support. :duff

Anyone hear something that sounds like a broken record?

If this comment was in reference to my post than you are just being downright childesh and rude. That is not an opinion but a statement of pure fact.

com·pro·mise (kmpr-mz)n.
1.
a. A settlement of differences in which each side makes concessions.
b. The result of such a settlement.
2. Something that combines qualities or elements of different things: The incongruous design is a compromise between high tech and early American.
3. A concession to something detrimental or pejorative: a compromise of morality.

To be honest all of you do. If you look at this thread this conversation is in 95% of the 9k post that it has now. Thats why its not fun playing this game for more than 5 matches cause you guys get all pissed about it. And i understand why cause i do but then again its Gears and this ^^^^ happens all the time so just laugh at it. Dont understand why people have to complain about the same thing over and over. Most of you guys have forgotten to have fun with the game. and those that do have fun get tired of all the wine fest and then that turns into name calling and the fun gets drained out. I wish we could just play the game and have fun. ^^^^ the glitches ^^^^ the 2piece ^^^^ ^^^^ who ever grabs what weapon all the time. ITS THE GAME. anyway my 2 cents.:joy

Hey man, I give you and others my support when I'm in 100% agreement with that person. You called Josh out (because Kit did, we aren't stupid around these parts) and said he was a quitter when all he said was he wasn't obligated to play, since he didn't like FF. It's really no biggie, but people continue to rag on him about it cause you're having fun doing it.

So I dunno, "want a cookie?" sounded good at that time. Plus the fact that I was eating a cookie. :lol

Oh, and

(I'll add that because you did).
