Seems there are two groups with differing opinions on the update. Played some Public with Dee, Lonnie, Jon and Robert and we were kicking ass and having fun. The shotgun to me seems more responsive and in about 10 matches only saw the 2 Piece once at the most. I didn't experience any lag issues and we didn't run into any cheaters either, oh and the ranking system is much better.

Robert said pretty much the same thing last night.

I think if I recall he even left the game disgusted as well.

That's because he had games where he'd end up with 0 or 1 kills and he wouldn't STFU about COD the entire time. Dee, Lonnie and Robert all had matches of 7 kills or more.

This game is by no means perfect 'cause of the update, it is getting better though. The only thing that makes playing public suck is the ^^^^ing cheaters, but the group last night was whooping ass.

I guess that's why he came back and played another 2 1/2 hours with us then huh? Then he kept playing with Jon when Dee, Lonnie and I left.

Dude, my first match after the update I went 12-2 and heard (Public) babies crying 'cause they couldn't 2 Piece anymore.

I noticed that too and Dee says the Snipe seems more responsive as well.

This is true. Sometimes people just have their mind made up way before hand.

I love Gears. It did start out as a major social place but other games have turned into hangouts as well especially with the party. It did bring us together but IMO its been a factor in some of the recent tension as well. At least from my POV.

Got my level 15 rank and now its back on the shelf to collect dust. Maybe update 4 will get it right. Oh well back to COD:WOW.

What does it say? And even if it removes the ability to host people CAN still use them.
