i remember reading about some disk that is being released with all the downloadable content. when is that set to be released, cause if its soon ill hold off downloading any of the updates and such.

That's true. The Game Of The Year Edition will come with eveything DLC up to now. I think it's coming out next month.

should be out soon, but you can still buy all the downloadable content in one pack right now. i think the one you're talking about comes with a strategy guide and stuff.

After months of not playing this game I finally beat Skorge on insane. Up to the part where your kinda in like a courtyard type setting.

hmm, just looked through the downloadable content for this game and there is a pack called

Includes
19 downloadable Gears 2 multiplayer maps and a bonus deleted single-player chapter "Road to Ruin" for the Gears of War 2 campaign.

Cost is 1,600 points


Is that the pack that they were talking about, or is the disked version include something different. Also finished the game on insane, can't believe I let Skorge get me down all those months back about beating the game.

Played online after so long, didnt know they added that rank levels now. Was only able to get 8 kills in though, but practice practice practice i guess. Gonna get some points tomorrow at work so I can get the extra maps + deleted level.

the deleted level is pretty fun. i'm trying to collect the achievements for this game. wingman is the only ones i think i'll have problems with. i'm not that good, and i keep getting stuck with people that suck as bad as i do.

yeah i just wish you could choose which map you actually search for. i've been trying to get the Horde achievements, but keep getting stuck playing the same maps over and over again.

that deleted chapter was pretty fun. went through it "guns blazing" first and it was full of action. That last fight was fun as well. Died a few times on the ending part and like twice on the bridge scene.

I hope that they end up finding or just making new single player content sooner or later.
