Gears of War: Judgement

Ya know, its grown on me....not my fav, but I appreciate that its different. And I love Baird and Cole, so no regrets.....

I just beat it on hardcore. Loved this game. My favorite Gears yet when it comes to the campaign. I took the challenges as the characters being even more bad ***. I can't wait for bioshock though. That's why I played this game so hard.

Played this all day. Finished it on normal for my first run through. Really fun addition to the gears universe. This game on insane in some areas is going to really be a pain.

This is my favorite Gears campaign also. Aftermath is just awesome, loved it so much. However, the multiplayer is bad IMO. The weapon balance is terrible, it is so difficult to kill people, and the weapons are so difficult to use. It's a shame, as I wanted it for the MP, but I deal with it and maybe I'll enjoy more eventually.

how come Carmine doesnt sound the same as in Gears 3 and is the sound bite from when 3 Anya talks to Cole after Savage Kuntus/Serepede submarine scene the same as Aftermath or did they redo it? is Sofia suppose to be modell after Black Widow?

As for the last question: Epic made a lot of changes for this game's MP, and the lack of ability to plant grenades is one of them. You can throw them at characters and they may stick that way, but that's it

No, its alright. Its par for the course with Gears mostly. Its not quite as good as 3 but better than 2.

Yeah, not too thrilled with that myself......it was so much a part of MP

Completed the campaign on hardcore today. It ended up a lot better than I thought , the second half really picked up.

Things I like would be the sound , the random spawning , the graphics of course ( although the bleak greys in previous games did add some atmosphere that fit the world well ) , I thought Loomis was a cool character.

Things I didn't like.

Whilst Khan was cool the final boss fight was underwhelming and way to easy imo.

Pistols as optional weapons , what the hell were they thinking ?.

The amount of maps on multiplayer is a joke and some of the weapon inconsistencies are ridiculous.


Overall I'd give the game a 7/10 , it's good but it's not up to par with Gears 1 or 3 for me.


Has anyone managed to complete survival mode on hardcore or a difficulty above ? , I managed horde all 50 waves easily with a few friends but I can't believe how hard survival can get !.

yeah the MP is terrible. Its not gears at all. I really feel they just dumbed it down so much so that any person can jump in and play. Gears needs downs and executions. I want both my weapons, none of this y button switch out to a pistol making me look for a secondary. I'll probably end up going back to Gears 3 for MP. Judgment is just a totally different game that I dont care for. I feel like the skill is gone and now its just a faster gears/call of duty mash up.

Problem for me is this: maps are too large, to the point where I go minutes without seeing an enemy team member. So, for myself, its kinda boring....and with so many corners, people just camp somewhere until you turn their corner

I'm just going to play the campaigns and quit. I tried the MP and didn't like it enough t play any more of it

Sorry but i don't like this game! It's cool game, a cool Gears of War.

But i return on the multiplayer of Gears of War 3 it's much better in my opinion!

I hope for a new episode developped by Epic Games for the next generation.
