yeah, perhaps.... but i would hate to forget about it and have my credit card charged for the new amount in December...

I hope it works out for you.
I'm getting mine from my Canadian supplier that'll save me tons on shipping and customs fees so I'm happy-- In fact, next to the Indy PF Exc. I think that this Grievous 1:1 is the collectible I'm the most excited about.:D

Well, I've called the place a DOZEN times and no one EVER answers... :sick It says to leave a message if no one answers, but I never get to a voicemail. Funny thing is that they say they WON'T take cancellation via email and it MUST be via phone.... So how are you supposed to cancel if no one ever answers?!?!

Exactly. Seemed kind of shady to me. I went with johnstoys.com. Use promo code WEB and it comes to $432 before shipping. I've had a few orders with them before, and they've been pretty good. Dark Shadow Collectibles is always reliable too.

Why do you say that? I would imagine that this bust will have an edition size that is significantly less than the Hellboy PF.

Because all of the Star Wars 1:1s sit around for awhile before getting too hard to find.

If you want to get it from a retailer, then yes the Hellboy one will be harder to get. But once they both sell out, there are going to be quite a few more of the Hellboy piece in circulation. I don't see the Hellboy PF becoming super rare, and the same is probably true of the Grievous bust as well, but if the edition size is less than 500 it could be hard to get.

The Hellboy IS sold out (at least the exclusive, which really is a must-have) and Greivous isn't - given all past indications the bust will be easier to find.

But then again, I suppose collecting CAN be full of surprises.

Well, I think the safest thing to do is to use your basic rule of thumb for collecting.... Just buy what you REALLY REALLY gotta have! So that IF your piece doesn't SKYROCKET in value (like a ton of the Marvel stuff now) then you won't be disappointed :D I've gotten some stuff and thought it was going to appreciate, but it didn't  But it didn't matter to me, because they were MUST HAVEs in my collection :banana

Well, I finally got a hold of someone at Monsters in Motion. They said I got mine locked in for $375, since I have already received a receipt reflecting the price :banana The only thing that worries me is that I chose regular USPS shipping

good to hear!

Just preordered mine! :)

I missed out on the Maul offer. Back then I wasn't buying nearly as much as I am now from Sideshow, but had it been offered today, it'd be an immediate purchase. Darth Sidious I wasn't too impressed with, but I love Greivous's character, as well as his design.

I pre-ordered the bust, but soon after canceled it. I'm pretty darn happy with my PF Grievous and I think it would be a bit of overkill to have the 1:1 head next to the already imposition of space the 1:4 takes up next to it.
