Historically, the 1:1 busts haven't sold out too fast, between their size and price, it seems a lot of times there is a lot of interest but a lot of those folks can't pull the trigger. Yoda 1:1 is still for sale at the SSC site last I looked and it's over a year old.

There's a reason Yoda is still available....

So going to be ordering this! Just not from direct from Sideshow. I ordered the Emperor directly from them and while I did get some points I stung on tax to England the whole cost was £310 ($620) I have seen them on eBay for $420! Anyway I love it and to me its worth it!

General Grievous is not up for pre-order yet from play.com or forbidden planet, any of you UK guys know where we can order from yet or do we just have to wait?

That's true... The 1:1 pieces are usually much more expensive. But IMHO, I think this bust is WAAAAAAAY beter looking than the Yoda bust

I would agree with that. The Yoda has a funny look on his face. It's not a good likeness to the ESB puppet.

i have mine on order, but i'm still debating on yes or no for him. on on hand the bust will be awesome and full of detail. on the other, his character in the movie is lame...in the Clone Wars he was very awesome, but this bust depicts him in the movie.

I'm in the same boat. I think that a character's impression on you is ultimately what tips the scales. This bust may be high quality as is expected from SSC, it may have a high wow factor, but if you're still unsure, then let it go. AND I don't think my sig is helping either.

I think with Grievous movie bust, you either really want it or you don't, if you're in the middle ground, you're 90% likely a don't and the only thing keeping your interest is the production quality, not the product or character and likely down the road if you go it you'll wish you hadn't.

That's a true statement.... I LOVE this thing and would TOTALLY want it, but I have so many other things on pre-order that this is kinda hard to squeeze in

You know what I HATE about the whole pre-order thing? (even though I love it, since it gives me time to save $ to buy something)...... Is that no one can buy anything from Sideshow and surprise you for a special occasion!!!!! (like birthday, christmas, etc) And especially when you're a collector, like me, and you keep updated 24/7 on new products your girlfriend/wife can't surprise you with a BAD ASS statue!

I say this because my girlfriend knows how much I LOVE Sideshow stuff, but she can never buy anything for me or surprise me because I pre-order it all or already know about new products!

well...i agree for the most part, but my GF got me something from SS for Xmas the other year. The Punisher PF Exclusive!!! back when SS was practically giving them away she got it for me for $175 shipped.
~~~also, my GF just created her own account and started pre ordering stuff for me knowing that i also order them. then right when they are about to ship she'll tell me to cancel it because she already has one on the way.

I'd love ROTJ reveal too, but no, I mean a full 1:1 bust, which would feature his shoulder/chest armor and his cape and chain, not just the mask.

That would be pretty cool i assume it would be over 30 inches though

You could always order from a retailer and get $50 off since there's no exclusive. That's what I'll be doing.

I cancelled my SS order and I've got this one ordered from my Canadian retailer-- saves me $$$ on customs and shipping. Gonna be a tight Q1 with this and the Tumbler from HT. Oh well....
