it’s the same rhetoric except it came from an NBA coach...proves people don’t think before they speak

I’d challenge him to tell public servants defending our country, street, health or teaching our kids that our country is an embarrassment to the world...I’d lol as well.

But by making that public statement didn't he tell those very people as well?

As evidenced by this very thread, everybody has differing and strong opinions about, well...everything.

I'm not a mod, but how 'bout we just stick to the NBA before things REALLY get bad here, fellas? :duff

Nah, it's all good. Most of us are long time posters here who despite having different teams we support, get along pretty well. I'd just hate for it to spiral out of control.

No worries.......

In real NBA News Wade close to signing with the Cavs....still doesn’t increase their odds enough to beat GSW. Season still a bore.....news at 11

Hopefully all the moves make the regular season a bit more entertaining.. at least in the West. The east is even more of a cake walk for the Cavs. Everyone will just want to see LeBron vs Kyrie and that happens on opening night.

Now they just need to sign Chris Bosh and lure Mike Miller out of retirement and sign him again. :wink1: :monkey3

It’s nuts....any given year the talent on the team and it’s potential would be strong favorites to win it all.......favored to go but still unlikely to win it all

I think Pop was pretty well spoken on the subject. The president is embarrassing us as a nation. Any president who has thin skin enough to start a personal Twitter war with the leader of an unstable nuclear power tells you a lot.

On the Cavs, when you look at their roster and depth chart it is pretty impressive on paper. If Wade can go hard for a seven game series, I think they will give the Warriors more of a challenge than last year.

I’m still not sold on Houston or OKC. I need to see how these teams blend on the court. I’m not sure the chemistry will work.

Minority’s have been trying to have this ‘conversation’ forever to no avail. So now the nation is forced to talk about it instead of continuing to ignore it. Sports have always been used as a vehicle to push for social change. Especially for African Americans who represent a small percentage of the population but a majority of popular American athletics. It’s bigger than anyone’s desire to use sports to escape the daily grind.

No one is being forced to talk about. People are being forced to put up with it, big difference. Please tell us how, when you force someone to do something, they suddenly change their mind, and move to your side. It doesn't happen and they're only making people hate them, period. To think otherwise is to be as tone deaf as the NFL.

Also, if people actually talk about it, what comes up? They say things like, "oh yea, multi-millionaires who work sixteen weeks a year are soooo oppressed" and things of that nature. They're delusional to think this does anything other than hurt the NFL and turn the majority of fans off.

Pretty sure people are talking about it. Why would I tell you “how, when you force someone to do something, they suddenly change their mind, and move to your side?” I never said that would happen so that not an argument that I feel the need to make.

And this is old.. I’m done.

WADE OFFICIALLY SIGNS WITH THE CAVS. Warriors in 6 lol

If he would've listened to all the leaders with real experience who headed good advice to him on deleting his stupid Twitter account, it would never be so bad for him.

Yea, Cle looks pretty loaded on paper, but they also have guys that are very prone to injury. I very much doubt they will be able to keep it together unless Lue can limit everyone on the minutes.

Wow. That’s a massive discount, even in his old age.

Power of Lebron I guess. It's a miracle he was even able to convince Wade to come to Cle for any dollar amount. I hope they don't give him too many minutes. Bosh is next right?
