I have quite a lot of faith in GG. They have made some quite fantastic production pieces in the recent times. When it comes to looking at promotion photos, I have more faith in GG than SSC, these days.

I feel the same about the base...at least going by the pics. I may feel differently once the statue is actually on the shelf and real world circumstances take over.
For instance, dust (and cleaning the dust) may muddy the surface with tiny scratches. It might discolor more quickly over time...etc
I don't think at this point anyone can actually say just how good this piece is because there is a a pretty big gulf here between the photos and what's going to wind up in our hands.
I hope it looks at least as good as the one that was on view for CES. If they can match that, I'll be mighty happy.

The only problem with the bases is that the sit flush on the shelf and if there's anything underneath it could scratch a little. I have all SP girls and they're fine. The bases aren't an issue. I expect this to be a very nice piece based on their track record with SP and even the HT stuff, although I haven't followed or collected those girls.

Agreed. All the sucker punch girls I have had in hand inc. the higher ES ones have been close to those at SDCC etc IMO. They have a great QC process at GG it seems.

Damn near close to speechless looking at these. I'm rarely in awe of these things....always finding something I think could be addressed/improved/altered to better effect. Not here. Any deviation I expect would only be a disappointment.

And I know this strikes a somewhat negative note, but- these photos are setting the bar so high I'm thinking it would be damn near impossible to get anywhere close to this with the production pieces. I know others have more experience and confidence in GG than I do. I so desperately hope I'm wrong.

If it does turn out this well, it's going to take a lot of the sting out the disappointment I have with SS's WW PF. And that's saying something, 'cause I was massively disappointed with that one.

That is the best weapon ever used in a statue or figure.

Not even any releases of Punisher in any format has ever had a gun like that (any why not SS ).

Massive win for GG here, if this comes out that good we are looking at statue of the year.

How do you know its a plain base? Maybe in the movie they find two giant tesseracts and she is supposed to guard them. Did you ever think of that? Hmmm? Did you..?

I love the plain clear base, it makes my eyes focus on what matters, the character.

It's an excellent contrast to her black costume.

Agreed, its mesmerizing without a busy base. I don't need her knee deep in snow sliding down a mountain or whatever.
