Can someone please let me know when these are up for pre-order and send me the links for Luna and Glorfindel?

One quick question, do you need to be a member of the premier guild? I would expect I'd get an email since I'm a regular member but I never got any pre-order link for CIV.

This year GG has adopted a no trade policy for their exclusives until the last day of the show. So supposedly that means that dealers, professionals and other exhibitors won't be able to buy exclusives at SDCC until Sunday. Of course I had a trade badge last year and still had no chance to get Lucius, so I doubt this will make much difference at all.

Loki....suggest you go to their website and get into their blog. They have all the info. You will see that you don't have to be one of the PGM; being a regular member "should" get you the e-mail. (I still haven't received my e-mail with links for last year's....)

That is what they said but I know a few many people got to buy with VIP, volunteer badges they olny really stopped exibitors at CIV.

How bad was it with Lucius? Because I am hoping to get Glor, but if the level of difficulty is that bad, then my chances are slim to none.

I think Lucius was pretty much impossible for most folks. He sold out very fast and took a lot of work 2 get if you did want one.

I expect Glorfindel 2 be as hard if not harder to get and am already planning on taking a little more money than I wanted so I can get him while I'm out there.

For Lucius, they wouldn't let anyone line up until the doors opened up for the regular crowd. Once the line formed I was usually about 25-50 people back and Lucius would sell out in about 5-10 minutes, long before I got anywhere near the sales point. They were only selling a percentage each day of the total amount each day.

So if they pre-order 75 Glorfindels, that means they'll sell about 100 to Con goers each day. If that was true of Lucius, I should have been able to get one. Hmm...

GG is saying that a certain amount will be held back for after the Con as online raffles. Which means about 75-100 less for Glorfindel and prolly about that much, mebbe a little more, for Luna at the Con. Sux

The good news (kinda) is that the edition size for Commander Cody is more and the preorder allocation is more (and should have more per day for walk ups).

Still wouldn't expect any of them to last beyond 5-10 minutes. Good luck to us all

Pre-Order for Pick-Up San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Information Update



***Due to our upgrade in server capacity, we are pushing back the PRE-ORDER FOR PICK-UP for San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives to Thursday, July 12th.***



We apologize for those who expected to place their pre-order for pick-up for the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives tomorrow, Wednesday, July 11th. We didn’t want to go up with our pre-order process without our full server support. Our upgrade should be completed by then and with our upgrade to 4 dedicated servers, we should be able to handle all the website traffic without causing any delays with the order process.



Again, an email with the links and information for the Pre-Order for Pick-Up for San Diego Comic-Con will now be sent out on Thursday, July 12th.

phew! was sweating this....had a "must be there" 2-hour meeting to attend about the expected window of opportunity. Was prepared to walk out pretending to be sick or something in the middle of it to keep vigil. (gawd! am I a geek or what?) Now I can be a good worker bee and attend the meeting then....cut out immediately after to see Harry .

Of COURSE NOT Dave, it would make too much sense. We're talking GG here....when have they made any sense recently?
