Thursday is not so good for me.

If someone can get me the LOTR Bust I would be so indebt 2 you.

If the servers can handle the load, I predict that Glorfindel will be gone in about 15-20 seconds.

They may have improved their servers but I bet their cart will still dump your items if there are more than 50 people trying to check out at once.

I hope my words are not prophetic for you all guys and I will hopefully have someone to order and send me these well at least Cody pretty easily and maybe Glori if they get lucky and get through quickly.

I'd guarantee you it would be more like $300

Maybe but I doubt it. The thing isn't even selling for that on ebay. I dont recall the HP bust from last year selling for that at the shops when I was looking around.

Is that what you plan on selling him for

I say no more than $200 with the hype fest. His Pre-Sale is pretty weak.

Why people want a character based off the video game (the design/look) and a small part in the book is beyond me. All this will do is influence GG to create more videogame based LOTR characters.

Hype will die down for this guy within 4 months, along with his price. Just breath people...;)

Wed would have been prefect but Thurs was okay also. I just feel sad for those that took the day off to preorder ahead of time.

I agree his Pre-Sale # aren't that great. I could see $200 or so at the show but not $300. Though, I'm sure there will be someone there trying to get that.

As far as why anyone would want him? Well, I've played the game and loved it. So I'd REALLY like to get my hands on him.

You can get a Lucius Malfoy bust for between $100-125. There were 500 of him, and he is actually a relatively familiar character with ample screen time, and the Potter line has been building momentum for a few years now. Glorfindel was not in the movies at all and the LOTR line is just getting started. With the same number of pieces as Malfoy for a far less familiar character, I don't imagine the kind of long term demand that would drive and keep prices up that high.

Exactly! I don't think even at its hottest which will be SDCC he'll be earning that much more than retail.

Absolutely outrageous. Lost my connection when I tried to refresh. Since we're supposed to be logged in before we're allowed to order, wonder just how we're to work this out?

Whether I get an exclusive or not is no longer the issue. I've about reached my saturation point of incompetence and cavalier attitude towards their customers.

This is going to go on all day, isn't it?

Come time to order this, will the search feature work at all so that I can zip in and out?? I'm not sure if they allow their SDCC exclusives to be searchable.

And I can't believe they won't announce sooner when they're available. hank goodness Sideshow has their act together by letting us know at least a day ahead when the pre-order begins.

Somehow I may resign myself to not getting any of the exclusives, and to train myself not to miss them dearly.
