Okay, that's weird, it must be a flickr thing - I can't get it to work either.

Not a flickr thing, the problem was that he posted them as

{img] {url]filename.jpg{/url] {/img]

instead of

Thanks for the pix. Can't wait until I get mine now....

Oh yeah....bring it on :blissy Can't wait til mine arrive! ......SS who??? :D

I love that shot of the three Ringwraiths.

My Strider is due to arrive on Monday! Thanks, Adam!! :chew

It does look like I'll be diving into this line... :monkey5

Picked up the ringwraith bust over the weekend. It's heavier than I thought it would be, and the metal sword [as opposed to resin or polystone] was a real nice surprise. Well done GG, a terrific start to a very promising line of LOTR collectibles! :bow

Mine should arrive some time this week.

I hope I get a ring in one of mine. Apparently all you have to do is open the box and see that there are two COA's in there (one for the bust, one for the ring) to tell that you have one of the lucky busts. So I hope that you all ordered from a trustworthy source.

Do you think these will be as popular as the Harry Potter series

I'm wanting 9 ringwraiths but can only afford 5 at moment

Way to go, GG!

They certainly will be for a while at least. I don't know how popular HP is going to get with a new movie and the final book coming this summer. But there are at least two new movies after the final book so there will still be plenty of buzz about it. The only thing that may come for LOTR is 'The Hobbit'.

The Ring Wraiths will be the hardest to find and most expensive bust in this series for a couple reasons. A very small ES of only 2000, and the fact that there are a lot of people buying multiples.

I may be able to push the boat out and order the other 4, since it's prob going to be another 9 months till I pay for the next LOTR PF so at least I don't have to worry about putting money aside for a while.

Hmm, to each his own, I guess, but I don't see the appeal of having 9 IDENTICLE busts. Rather than looking like a collection of the 9 different Ringwraiths, it would look more like a collection of 9 copies of ONE Ringwraith, IMO. If they were figures, they could be posed differently to give the appearance of the nine, but with statues or busts how do you achieve that ?

I'm just a bit of a geek like that

I wanted 9 RWOS weta statues but no way could I afford that, with GG I can afford it at a push

Anyway when I get fed up of them I will just sell them

I'll just sell my Xmen vs Sentinel #1 if need be

Those small rings...do they have a ES printed on them? Because anyone can buy one and put it in the box. What GG should have done was put an ES on the ring, with the characters name on it, from which bust the ring came with.

Oh I never thought about that

hope they have an edition no. on this, suppose you do get a certificate of authenticiation with the ring

^^yeah, someone should drop GG a note if they're unprinted rings.

Name of Bust and and ES number/100

Loki speaks truth! Let me say as a long time GG collector... the Ringwraith busts are gonna be tough to find down the line. If anyone wants these... get 'em now! They're already getting tough to find... and many e-tailers can't fulfill all pre-orders. That means demand is outweighing supply already. Not to start a panic here... but I see the price of these going waaaay up... and going up sooner rather than later.

As the GG LOTR line catches on with the casual fans and also with some of the hardcore LOTR folks (when they finally see these and can go ooooh... aaaaaah) I think you will see people jump into this line full force and many new collectors will want to go back and grab these bad boys. They better be prepared to spend over retail.

Other than possibly some yet-to-be-announced super-rare exclusive that GG will almost certainly unleash some day... .this first ringwarith will be one of the real "prized" pieces down the line.

Yes, apparently there is a separate COA for the ring. And you only have to open and close the cardboard box to see if it's there, so you can check without actually breaking the seal on the bust itself. Good luck getting a bust with a ring from an eBay seller--unless of course they mark it up and sell it that way. As rare as the Ringwraiths already are, a factory sealed Ringwraith bust with a Ring COA inside will probably command a fair amount of money in the near future.
