Hmmm...the ST Jumpsuit does look a tad oversized on that body, but I think that BBI flightsuit looks waaay too small. It might work for a Louis, but it looks a little tight for the other guys. As far as pockets go, yes, the ST suits are all wrong and would leave a ton of pin holes if the pockets were removed--but I think if you adhere the name patch to the top part of the pocket, it might not be so noticeable when all the gear is on.

And, Spook, would you mind putting the ST suit on the fella on the left. They may both be DML bodies (which I don't plan on using), but there is a very obvious difference in height.
those bodies are the same height. one has boots on and the other doesnt.

Craw is partially right about the boots adding some to the height but their are minor height differences in the dragon bodies. Even with bare feet the figure on the left is ever so taller (1/16" which could very well be due to the head sculpt). Both of these figures are taller than the DML Mike Kirby figure I have by a good 1/8".

As far as the BBI suit looking small, if you look at the pictures that show the figure from the back you will notice some pretty deep creases in the suit on the legs. This should give you an idea of how much left over room is in the suit. Not too mention these suits have velcro adjusters at the waist, wrists, and ankles. Right now the waist is nearly all the way in and it actually puckers the suit up around the waist of the figure. The wrists and ankles are about half of the way in. The suit has also been hand washed a good 6 or 7 times in the various lightening, bleaching, and multiple dyeings. This has caused it to shrink up a bit, normally it would "wear in" but for a figure it may have to be stretched a little to help it loosen up.

Maybe a better shot might be the before and after suits on the two figures? I will even put a pair of rubber boots on the right figure this time.

Not part of the project, but I've been following it. I threw this together for you guys. I di this with my sculpts to get a better feel for them before I pour the mold. Hope it helps.

Hey, looks nice! Thanks for coloring it! :)

I sent the order in off to Ada for the payments I've gotten so far today so she can get started on them and ship them out.

I have still yet to hear back or get payments from at least 16 people who have said they are sending them soon. So you know, you are in no way cut off from the project. Consider Ada working on casting "round one" of the order with additional heads able to be tacked on until she ships it out. Once I get more orders in afterwards, or any new orders, those will get sent off for a round 2 of casting so no one misses out.
Thanks everyone!
-Rick :)

Are you taking payments for anything past the first two heads?

Sure. I want to stress Peter and Ray are the only immediate ones people need to actively be thinking about right now if they haven't yet (since Ray is coming up next! :chew), but for the people who CAN pre-pay for any of the others, I have started collecting payments from them from a few people who just wanted to do them all at once, which is cool because the sooner I get payments for them, the closer to reality they get and the sooner we'll get the third. :banana:banana

Ada casts her heads pretty quickly, but sometimes customs can drag the shipping process down (Bishop took FOREVER, while the others arrived relatively quick). We will see!

Also, hopefully we'll hear an update from Storeroom about the uniforms and Alice packs soon. :)

Not to be too nerdy (oops, too late!), but Will Smith was another actor I always thought would rock in an updated Ghostbusters (new members), so I was happy with Ada's new Will Smith head she just debuted for my "second team". :)

Got my night vision goggles from OSD today. A little repainting and these things will be perfect! Fairly nice for a 21st C item.

I always saw Eddie Murphy in the new team but Will would be a good choice aswell...:rotfl

Eddie was origanilly Winston, and had a bigger roll in the movie, but he diclined the offer. I thinck he would have got in the way of Murray and Stantz!! It was back in the day when he was a star!

too bad i didnt get one of these heads, base would have made a great raleigh sinclair figure

Still can if you want.

News I just read today that I pray to God is a hoax: This is NOT my Ghostbusters 3 "new generation" dream team!

Steve Carell and Seth Rogen will suit up for a third Ghostbusters movie, according to Dread Central.

Rumours suggest that the new film will bring together original Ghostbusters Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson, who will hand over their business to four younger paranormal experts.

Speculation regarding a third Ghostbusters film has been rife for years, but the possibility looked slim because of Bill Murray's reluctance to return for another sequel.

However, the original cast members, including Murray, have all lent their voices to the forthcoming Ghostbusters: The Video Game, due for release this autumn.

ive heard rumors like this for awhile. akroyd and ramis wrote the story for that video game too. i also heard they might be thinking of a movie sequel if the game does well. unfortunately i heard that game got canceled or put on hiatus or something.

The game was at SDCC, looked good there...

I would actually be down for a new movie... and if handed to the comic all stars of our day, could be funny. I mean, let's face it... the guys are a bit too old and chubby to do it these days. Murray and Hudson are still going strong, but the other guys are a bit doughy. :lol

And Seth Rogen rules, if he was in it... I'd see it.

Yeah, because they were the peak of physical perfection in the 80's. WTF? :rotfl
