Sigh.....It's an "I'm about to kick some ass" move rather than an 'I crave *****' move. Girls can be badass too you understand?

Yeah girls can be badasses too but you never saw Ripley do the **** crave lick in Alien. If anything it's degrading towards women, unless the movie is trying to imply that's all woman think about...

No she only had half her ass showing while being chased by a big ***** shaped monster.

Is says something (not good) that you can only see that Holtz licking the gun as a **** crave move and not an "I'm about to kick some ass with these new toys I made" move.

Ahh...I see. I guess I just never saw him as an "every man" since by the end of the film he was another shirtless one man army blowing everyone away with a machine gun.

I always saw Rambo in First Blood , Indiana Jones, and Jack Burton as more of the every man "hero."

Even by the big action ending in DH1 I still think he was different than your muscle meat heads from that era.

He had a wife, he was a small guy, he showed his emotions to strangers, he had to use his wits more than his brawn because he had no brawn AND he even tried to save a ****** character from self destrucion!

Sure it was an action packed climax, but he was still a regular guy dealing with extraordinary circumstances.

Whether people like or dislike this movie there's no denying that the marketing campaign from the trailers to the constant fan base bashing was poor. This movie will long be forgotten along with all the other crap that's come out over the past few years.

Well, I don't feel anything for the fan base at all. I have a lot of pages liked on Facebook that report on movies and whenever this movie was brought up, it just brought out all the hate against the actresses. About them being women, fat, ugly, whatever. Can't blame them for striking back. At first it was about not needing to do the reboot, but later it just became more personal. Hell, some fans were accusing Facebook movie pages of taking money to promote the movie since they even dared talk about it.

I would've preferred a reboot with Veckman's kid leading the way, but we didn't get that. :(

Licking her gun is totally not sexual..... :rotfl check the last pic, not fair to single out just women.

Lick dem phallic lookin' things, yo!

Still miles better action film director than most modern ones. :dunno

His decades old movies are better, but does he still have the touch?

She's actually right. Feig always was the main problem. Problem is ... you can't say the girls are right for the movie, but Feig was the wrong director. Feig directing is the only reason those four were ever cast. He only directs comedies about women, for women. It's his schtick. Any other director would've cast men, or at least a mixed-sex team ... and the movie would've looked very different, and possibly a LOT better.

It's weird that she can't manage to connect those dots. If Feig was the wrong man, it follows that the casting she finds so brilliant was the result of the wrong director.

SnakeDoc

True. And it's up to the director to capture good performances so if she liked them then how is he the problem. Oh, because he has a wiener, which are perfect for shooting.

yeah! Better than the Original! :goodpost:

( $10 Dollars have been added to your account, thank you for shilling GB :))

You feel a draft crows? It feels shilly in here to me.

I have never seen a 'badass' of any sex lick their weapon before engaging. I have seen pin-ups with chicks licking guns, though.

no,
even in the context of the movie is very stupid,

since when the other woman was trying to kiss the gun in earlier scenes and they point out how the kiss would be deadly....

even in their own movie they contradict themselves. thats just retarded... "oh look at me im so quirky" no, even if a GB Man was licking that gun it would be stupid as hell even in the context of the own movie..... they speficially point out how it would be deadly

you will NEVER admit any problems with this movie so theres that.

But to a regular person that shot will seem either sexist, dangerous or stupid. (and to guys it will be very sexy)

I guess to you this is the most badass woman on the planet:

I think people on both sides of the issue would agree that this thread is the worst execution of the argument. :lol

It's so fun coming in here....:lol The arguments are all valid... But the responses make me laugh.. And I for one, always admit when I'm wrong. Iv'e even done it on these boards in my own posts. That's how we grow and learn. Admitting defeat/to being wrong is not a weakness, but a journey to better understanding and acceptance. I like to be shown the light. It means I've grown as a person. Although it is definitely more fun and enjoyable when your right!! :yess:

Everyday in work I go in and lick the phone and computer screen in preparation of kicking some ass in work...

And not good?...sexual implications are a natural part of everyday life.

Apparently, there is such thing as truly non-sexual, badass gun-licking ....
