I still cannot believe this is being made...I mean, really?!?! I really wanted the old cast back for one more.

Everything I have seen about this movie just looks like garbage to me. I've hated the casting since the beginning. Out of those 4, Kristin Wiig is the only one I would give any credit too.

Plus Feig seems like a pompous ****** bag.

I think the 'new' gear and 'new' Ecto-1 are the best things I've seen so far. Big fan of Wiig, Strong and McKinnon. Not so much McCarthy. I've only seen Leslie Jones on SNL and they don't seem to know what to do with her. I DO hope she's tuned down a bit though... Over the stretch of a movie I think her schtick would wear the thinest.

edit- and for the record I enjoy boobs and ******'s so the female cast doesn't bother me in the slightest. I've never prescribed to the 'raping of childhood' mentality.

It's not like all the copies of the original Ghostbusters are going to spontaneously combust because of this remake.

I loved the original (but disappointed by the sequel) and I'm surprised at all the passionate hatred this movie is getting. It's not just, "eh, I don't like the group making it--probably won't like the movie." It's "I hope you all burn in hell for trying this!!!"

I won't go that far. I do not like the casting, except for Wiig. I do not like Paul Feig. Just not a fan of watching a reboot of one of my favorite childhood movies, especially when I'm not a fan of who's making and starring in it.

The vicious, death threat comments are ridiculous. It's just a movie.
