Watching the first right now.

Since people didn't take a shine to it (i haven't seen it in years) i imagine they reduced the scale so as

1. Not to spend too much in case it flopped
2. Trysomething different to see if people resoond better

Of course, but that doesn't mean that people who enjoyed it are not honest... or other reviewers that see it as a better movie are not honest.
That's the issue, you single-handedly discredited all the others reviews just because...



I'm not excited about the MOTU movie at all anymore unfortunately...
But until he starts shooting the damn thing, I'd reserve my opinion of him as a director. Let's not forget this movie has been in development hell and they could easily change directors again...

Really? he speaks for all of us Joe fans? that is what my beef is...Its not just Hisstank,its other reviewers praising a movie just to sell tickets for the studio,being bought and paid for, while others wanting success of the Brand so we get more movie sequels or toys, when its not really warranted.

How MANY reviewers said ROC was good last time? to me,it's not honest,its all about selling tickets for the studio as paid schills saying a movie is really good.It doesn't sound like an opinion to me.
so far,Rotten tomatoes is giving it poor reviews at 46%,just slightly over Rise of Crap.

I think you're confusing honesty with cynicism...
I've never been to the Hisstank so I have no clue what the owner thinks of the movie, and personally I don't care.
I am not a hardcore Joe fan at all... I enjoyed the first one better than the Transformers movies...
And I thought this one was just OK...

Check some of the "Fresh" reviews over @ RT, those guys don't get any money from the studios... So those guys are being "Honest' to some extent... If you already think it's going to suck, why even go watch it?
Maybe you need to be "Honest" with yourself for once...

Just got back, it was cool, the rocks awesome and its a fun movie. But i honestly thought Rise of Cobra was better. I know people will call me insane but thats just my opinion. Ill get more indepth later.

Oh boy. Wow. I would give a review, but I can't remember a goddamn thing, aside from Walter Goggins, and Ray Stevenson doing some mix between a southern used car salesman, and Crocodile Dundee.

And how come nobody gives a **** millions of people just got a annihilated....seriously. They didn't give a ****. No one gives a ****. This movie didn't give a ****. I DON'T GIVE A ****. ****.

Cobra Commander's voice sucked. I wanted Chris Latta style stuff.


But the Rock was good. Had one or two moments that looked cool. Uh....Lady Jane was fine as hell. And uh...er...yeah. I wish it was insultingly annoying. But it was just dull. Dull as dull can be. That's the worst way for an action movie to be. The final battle is underneath a concrete bridge in the sand....come on...

I don't know. The first was awful...but it made me feel something once or twice. Even in being wholly terrible.

But there was one line..."SHUT YOUR MOUTH BRENDA!". Made me laugh. Such a random spurt.

Ok look , The movie is COOOL! For shure, theres some bad@$$ tech, guns and action. Theres some new GI Joe characters that come into play, its different, moves the story foward.

My Questoions/Cons are

The movie overall wasnt cohesive. Editing problems from the start, pacing issues. This may have been since the movie sat on the shelves for song they overproduced it, constantly tweeking it.

Leave out characters from the first, without proper exits or anything written well, Almost like a tv show when the actors cant make it they write them out for the episode.

Dj Catronas Flint was useless, brought the film down IMO, Had 2 cool scenes and it was his stuntman.

The End they destoryed an entire population but it resulted in nothing, When you have somthing that big, make it mean somthing, no stakes at all.

Somone talk to me about this. I wanted it to be awesome, but idk.
This was cool. But i feel like Rise Of Cobra was a bettermade movie overall. Yes it went crazy with the visuals and FUN levels, but i dont remember it feeling this choppy. Let me know

YEAH! That frustrated me. The ENTIRE movie felt pointless. No one gave two ****s that COBRA JUST MURDERED MILLIONS OF HUMAN BEINGS.

That shot of the people reacting? Do you remember that? They looked like they were waiting for the director to say action.

It was better than the first by leaps and bounds. So in my book it =good. But I'm sure by the first one sucking so bad, this one looks like an academy award winner!
