Joe movie toys will still be clogging toy shelves by this time next next year... Leaving no room and very little retailer interest for the 25th stuff or whatever they call them then. Hell, this might even mark the end like Sigma did for a while.

Actually, in the ToyFare interview with Hasbro, during that time, the 25th Anniversary line will be put on hold to focus on movie figures :)monkey1) and release more Resolute figures :)rock).

Well that's what I mean. They put the 25th line on hold and all the movie crap will still be in great abundance when they try to bring it back out. I'm looking forward to more resolute figures though. The first three were really pretty cool!

Definitely :D! That's how I first heard about the animated shorts. I saw the figs and was like, WTF?! Realistic Joe figures?! Snatched them up and then the shop keep told me about the forthcoming series and that he'd seen the trailer at SDCC. When I got home I YouTubed the trailer. This might wind up being like Street Fighter where the animated movie is better than the Hollywood Mr. Hankey flick.

Pix, once more, you totaly read my mind :)

If I can find a good eccelson head, I'm gonna get the black Silicon valley clothing set from Triad toys, and toss on the extra lincolin burows jacked I've had forever, and violla, instant 9th doctor.

HOwever, the suit he's shown in ould not be turned away either :lol

Nothing about that trailer says GIJoe IMO. Whats with the guys flipping down the street. Nano Suits must rock! :lol

yeah thats what I am afraid of too....the movie figures ruining any chances of the 25th continueing on.....hasbro showed Outback and said mindbender, recondo and chuckles were coming...but when? next year? or never? because of the movies figures tanking

I thought about that too, but unlike Indiana Jones where they failed at marketing and canceled the line due mainly to lack of sales in the major retailers, G.I. Joe appeals to the masses... including children. I think they'd return to the 25th Anniversary line if nothing more than to pad the losses from the movie and it's toys. But TBPH, from what I saw in ToyFare, while the movie might blow, some of the movie-based toys look pretty awesome.

Ugh. I still remember the deleted scenes of that movie... marionette fecaphilia aka Puppet poo sex. :google

I'm really not digging how bland everything looks. Uniforms, planes, etc. I see that only the main cast members have shadows. :lol I wonder if they're the only things that aren't CG in that shot.

Maybe after splurging on CG for all the action shots, that's all they could afford for the CG shadows? :huh
