What a cute little goatee Duke has! And Snake Eyes reminds me of the Schumacher Batman. . .in the best possible way, of course.

My only question is: why do they hate us so much?

I can only hope that people will do what they refused to with Transformers, speak with their wallets, and demand something that doesn't suck when these idiots try to turn our 80s cartoons into movies.

Unfortunately, people will not stay away from this movie. I still firmly believe it was not made to cater to people like us who are dedicated RAH fans. I know Hama was involved but to what extent? I'll admit, I will probably go see it. It is being released at the end of the summer when there is little competition. I will go in , however, with very low expectations. This movie is being released for one reason, to sell action figures.
Perhaps it will fail, though, and in a few more years we'll get a HULK-like reboot of the franchise with a director attached who actually cares about the source material. I don't know, I won't decide whether to see it or not until closer to it's release.

Why does SE look like he's made out of black foam rubber? Regrettably, I checked my V2 SE last night and he does have a mouth molded onto his face but I think the original sculptors put it there as a reasonable facsimilie of a cloth bacalava with features showing through. I also don't know if this has been discussed, but the SS SE is definitely based on the Valor Vs. Venom Wave 23 version. He even has the punch dagger and boot knife!

you don't have to use 'real american hero'. and yeah, licensing prevents some names, such as Torpedo now being Lt. Torpedo, etc., but you DON'T have to change what the 'lineage' was to sell a story.

I gotta agree with everyone else. If the actors looked like nothing more than campy cosplayers, at least it'd still be true to the ARAH vision and not the horrible Smallville Justice League ripoff-wannabe the film is turning out to be. As a matter of fact, if those cosplayers acted out the film on stage at a con, in those costumes, it'd STILL be better than the crap that is G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

Funniest thing about all of you is all of you will go see it, and prolly like it. You are the same one's that wined and wined about Michael Bay ruining your childhood..and yet you saw transformers..didnt you..haha and the transformers looks better now then it ever did.
