Funniest thing about all of you is all of you will go see it, and prolly like it. You are the same one's that wined and wined about Michael Bay ruining your childhood..and yet you saw transformers..didnt you..haha and the transformers looks better now then it ever did.

Actually, you are wrong on the Transformers part, at least for me and most of my friends. I think we were skeptical that Bay would be doing Transformers but lots of us had hope. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was Jazz. I wish he woulda been killed on impact.

This on the other hand looks like crap and I have no hope for it. And I have already stated I will go see the movie, no matter what, just because I like G.I. Joes. So we will see how it goes.

But from what I've seen so far, this looks like a CGI overload with the only saving grace being Ray Park as Snake Eyes.

At this point in the game Transformers looked a HELL OF A LOT BETTER than G.I. Joe does. And I don't remember even bashing it as the bits we were shown weren't nearly as bad as the crap they're showing for G.I. Joe. Additionally, Transformers was rated PG-13. How'd you sneak in to see it?

Sometimes when you see a movie you just have to check your expectations at the door. I will see it just because Eccleston is in it and I'm sure it will be worth the $1.50 I will pay for it.

Yeah, see, I knew TF would suck before I saw it, because it was Michael Bay, and the robots looked stupid, etc., and lo and behold, it did suck. This one, same basic thing. Will I see it? Yes, probably on DVD. But I can place money on the fact that I won't like it. I can just tell. When you have seen enough movies, you can get a feel for the relationship between the early material (trailers, costumes, etc.), production teams, writers, directors, etc. and the usual outcome.

If GI Joe is produced by the man behind another crappy movie update of 80s cartoon (Transformers, check), has retarded looking outfits, goofy actors, and green globs destroying famous monuments in a stupid looking trailer including crappy CGI Snake Eyes (check), and has a director of horrible movies (Mummy franchise, check), it is not unreasonable to expect a ^^^^ty movie. Which this will probably be. There is a chance that it won't, but the likelihood is otherwise.
