In the U.S., it is included with the GOW collection; on my copy, its mentioned on the outside cover...on the plastic wrap part I believe....

Well, since a limited amount of vouchers were circulated with the GOW Collection, it doesn't matter when your game was shipped - what matters is how fortunate you were, to have a game with an included voucher. A few of my friends never got their codes either. If you really need the demo though, just pre-order the Ultimate Edition from Amazon.com, and you'll get your voucher in two business days. In fact, you're GUARANTEED to get a demo code once you pre-order the Ultimate Edition from Amazon.

I know, it's weird how Sony made it so hard just to get into the demo..

Considering a demo is offered to entice people, making it limited makes very little sense...considering this is Sony we are talking about, I would assume that their egos got in the way.....

Yes, just be sure to grab a copy that mentions the free demo on the cover. The voucher with the code was packed underneath the instruction manual. I bought mine in Canada, so the demo codes are not exclusive to the US release.

It takes four times longer to download the thing than it does to actually play through it. Still worth it, though.

I received my GOW Collection from Amazon the other day I've put a few hours into the first game so far. I was no longer playing my PS2 when these games originally came out, so I didn't know what I was missing!

I brought my PS3 over to my parents' house today so I could use their wireless internet and download a few things. But, I forgot to bring my voucher!

The demo should last you around 15 minutes with your first play through . There are quite a few fight scenes in that demo worth checking out. Of course, in the end, it'll just leave you wanting more..

There's also the possibility that the demo level won't be in the game at all and was created merely to show off the improvements in tech. Microsoft did that with Halo 2, where the demo shown at E3 was created from scratch solely as a demo and was never considered for inclusion in the finished game.

finally played thru the whole demo and its very cool. Only thing - and this is to show off the lighting, but man, its dark. Its cool when you use the head to light the way, but I will probably adjust the final games lighting...if such an option is available

I have my doubts about that. All of the God of War demos in the past (GOW II, and Chains of Olympus), featured levels that were included in the actual games. The guys from Sony Santa Monica aren't Microsoft , and I doubt that they'll break from their tradition with GOW III.

I almost bought this the other day. But I can't justify $40 for two games I already own just because they look a tad better. I'm not double dipping for that.
