Just finished the game...WHAT A BOMB!!!!
Still can´t quite understand how such an amazong piece of game was conceived.
I wonder what happened to Kratos...

I've played GOW and GOW 2, and I've always wondered, why is Kratos such an a-hole?

He's always killing poor, innocent citizens that are running for their lives.

Why should he be anything other than an a-hole (a psychopathic, and amoral one, to say the least)? Kratos definitely isn't a good guy, but that's what's so refreshing about God of War. The franchise deviates from the cliche, "save the world" hero-types, and gives us the chance wreak havoc as a mindless killing machine.

Now, as to the reason for why Kratos is, the way he is, I don't know. Not all Spartans were as blood thirsty, and without remorse as Kratos.

I played and enjoyed GoWIII despite Kratos. There's really no morally redeeming value about him. You kinda get that sense even in the earliest moments in the first game, but over the course of the series the developers and writers have really gone above and beyond to make Kratos unlikable in almost every way possible. He's not even likeable in that anti-hero sort of way because he's a boring, one-note character.

The whole brother Story Arc is still considered Non-Canon
But in my playthrough of GOW3 in the Underworld there was a note that seemed too refer too his brother

Despite the video on youtube .. can we be sure if these letters were written from Perseus ? or maybe Hercules ? Also i think that the video on youtube is just a story that they dropped it and you can watch it at the extras if you beat God of War 2 .Zeus had many sons ...oh...``riddles in the dark``:D

Sorry to go off topic but does NECA have any plans to make some more God of War figures? I thought I heard a while back that they planned on making some GOW3 stuff but haven't heard anything in awhile.

Finished the game yesterday, and loved it. Amazing cinematics, great gore, and awesome music. Really adds to the game. Overall, I enjoyed this game immensely and will be replaying it on hard. I also need to get around to buying the GOW Collection so I can replay the first two, as it's been a while since I've played them. Oh, and let me just say this: Kratos is one bad son of a _____... that's why I love him. :rock

So NECA won't be making anymore GOW stuff? I'm not as familiar with DC Direct figures of this scale? Anyone know how the articulation is on em'?

no images of them yet...they'll have articulation, but dont know how many points yet...not much info on them other than the names and heights of each at this time...I am sure they will look good (Zeus,Kratos,Hercules,Hades)

I'm sure they will too. The reason I was asking is the DC Direct Nariko from Heavenly Sword and Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal don't look like they have any leg articulation but then again the pics shown of them are probably prototypes. Also the fact that the figures are only 6.5" is a little bit of a let down as they won't quite fit in with my NECA figures but oh well.

I'd get the 1/6 Scale Kratos in a Heart Beat, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon and the rest of the Gods and Characters would be cool too.
Wb a 1/6 Scale Titan :naughty

That would be awesome. A 1/6 Cronos with Pandora's Temple strapped to his back would be great. Only problem would be finding a place large enough in my neighborhood to display him :lol
