I really like the Neca God of War figure, but I would like to see another company's take on the license. I know that some of DC Direct's lines are pretty pre-posed like the World of Warcraft series, but their Resistance line seemed to have pretty good articulation, so you never know.

I'd also love to see a Hot Toys Kratos or 1/4 scale Kratos PF. It'd be great to have a high end representation of the big, white, jerk on my shelf.

That would be awesome. A 1/6 Cronos with Pandora's Temple strapped to his back would be great. Only problem would be finding a place large enough in my neighborhood to display him :lol

That would be damn awesome, but that brought me to the following:

The thing with the time travle is quite more confusing, not only in thoughts of Kratos´ family.

But what about the titans?

If Kratos got the Titans to the real time, Atlas wasn´t there to hold the World as Persephone made it crashin down, so all off Hades would be destroyed and the world also AND if Chronos was brought there also, he could´ve never crawled through the desert, but why does he have the temple/fortress on his back, when Kratos fights him in tartarus?

Good points EndoSickness.
Also if the gods particularly Zeus were so afraid of Kratos, why didn't they just let him kill himself after he killed Ares?

Maybe the Fear from Pandora's Box hadn't fully seeped into the Gods. But then again it was Athena who saved Kratos, and she was Indebted too him. Then again Athena is the Goddess of Wisdom as well, if that helps

Thats why this game is also known as the God of Plotholes.

Well...yeah...sort of.

I mean, they did an awesome job and all, but let´s hope that the original ending about the stuff they wanted to originally do with the titans might shine some light on those miracles, IF it´ll will show up...?

They would be good points, but there are no plotholes here:

If you watch the end of GoWII, Kratos grabs the Titans AFTER Atlas and Cronos seemed to be defeated. They were never climbing on Olympus. Atlas is still holding the world, and Cronos was canonically crawling the dessert of Lost Souls, but then sent to Tarturus after God of War. If you listen to what Cronos says to Kratos, he says after Kratos found Pandora's box, Zeus was angry and banished the titan in Tarturus. So, that completely checks out.

And about the gods letting Ares kill him, at the time Zeus was proud of Kratos (considering what Hercules and Athena says is true). Ares was the god that all the other gods hated (real mythology), and Kratos was the perfect being to take him down. It wasn' til the box was opened and the evils spread to the strongest god (Zeus) that Kratos became an enemy.

There aren't nearly as many plotholes as people think they are, it's just that not everything is spelled out perfectly for everyone, alot of it has to do with traditional greek mythology (like nobody knew hope was really in the jar in REAL mythology). It's not perfect, but anything that deals with time travel and mythological beings will ever be.

I can live with the Time Travel Plot Holes, GOW3 seemed too slightly remedy them

Awesome explanation, thx a lot.
Perfectly understandable and not much holes left anymore.

Cheers.

DC Direct god of war 3 figures photo...these are protos and I am sure they will have articulation on these (hopefully)

Hades, Zeus and Hercules look awesome. Kratos' face is going to be a problem I think. But from the neck down he looks good as well.

Those DCD figures look good but if their pre-posed with no articulation, I may pass (I like my figures in this scale to have some articulation). I heard NECA apparently lost the GOW license to DCD which is a real bummer since their GOW figure were great. I would have liked to have seen NECA make Kratos with the Cestus'.

Only Kratos is an actual figure in this pic imo. The others are just 3d renders from the game. Just look at the textures!

I was thinking that at first as well, but the Zeus that was at the Con looked just like that. I think Hades is a figure because the render always had flame underneath the mask. And the lack of color detail on the Cestus lead me to believe that that is actually Hercules as well. I could be wrong...and to be honest the Kratos at the Con looked better so hopefully this is just a bad pic.

Finished it about an hour ago... EPIC!

I've read elsewhere on the net people moaning about the game, both it's tory and gameplay. Personally I loved every minute!

Guess you can't please evryone...
