I think Sideshow's version will probably be the one to get. It will most likely be the most detailed and the biggest of the lot with the price to match its size

But will it be a deluxe figure or a PF?

I'm guessing a PF or Maquette. A 36 inch Deluxe figure would be da bomb . I think we have a better chance in seeing god before that happens. I won't mind getting a PF or Maquette because it will be for display and not play

Sideshow won't be doing a Godzilla figure, at least I doubt, even though with Star Wars they have done creature figures, I'm sure it'll be statues, whether it's dioramas or individual kaiju maquettes, who knows. It'd be nice if it was a full range with items of varying cost instead of just all high cost stuff, we'll see.

Full gallery of Jakks photos, very cool stuff, though, I have enough issues with the figure, I wouldn't give up the money and space for it.

I read somewhere that it'd be big, but not huge. A maquette kind of like the Pacific Rim ones.

The Mosasaur Maquette is 20 inches . 30 inch Godzilla Maquette should be realistic . I just hope they don't burn us on the price if this film turns out to be the end all be all Godzilla Film. it would be cool if SS took this opportunity to delve into a Solid Vinyl Maquette Godzilla Line , all in the 30 inch range.

They look amazing, but I believe it is head to tail, not head to toe. So the 24" figure is actually only 12" tall - which blows, I would love to have a 24" Godzilla with Neca level of detail. The Jakks one just doesn't do it for me.

Yes, for some reason, which is confusing people all over, NECA is marketing their Godzilla's by head to toe length, and yes, the 24" figure is only 12" tall. That said, I do believe NECA intends to do an 18" Godzilla if sales suggest it a good idea.

Damn really? That sucks because I was so stoked about a huge figure like that. Ah well guess i'll settle for the 18 inch one.
