Could be. But I heard they still have not gotten approval to show in Japan from WB or Toho since the movie comes out two months later. Im more excited at this point to see if x-plus has a 30cm in line for him

Im more of an old school fan so I'll be very picky with what I get of the new guy. Having said that, if I see NECA's on the shelf I'll pick it up until I see what the MonsterArts looks like. But im really looking forward to x-plus because you know they'll nail the look.

I'm too, am waiting for the X-Plus version. I'm sure the Monster Arts will look great also. I'm just happy as hell that these Japanese companies are putting out products for the new film!

I'm curious to see how they handle hiding the joins on the legendary design.

Not a lot of anatomy to easily hide the joints.

That's my biggest issue with figures. Joint lines have become an eye sore for me.
On robotic/mechanical characters, it's fine because joint lines can be hidden very easily.
On organic characters, it bothers me, unless the joints can be concealed behind clothes... and I'm not about to custom fit a vest and jeans for my Godzilla.

Yup, Kmart had the Jakks for $33.00, only 1 left.

TRU had none, as usual.

Jakks Spiderman came out really good, also $34.00 at TRU, picked him up.

artic looks good. no doubt monster arts will be better but im alwys a sucker for neca figs when they drop around time of movie release, the hype gets me!

Spiedy did come out really good, if I had the room and money I'd get Godzilla.

On the other hand, this little NECA's turned out great and just thinking about how much more awesome the 24" HTT will be has me pumped.

I've done a bit more to mine. Still want to work on nastier fangs and I want to work on concealing his shoulder seams a bit more. Spikes aren't movie accurate, just what I came up with.

Looking good, excited to work on mine, starting next weekend though, will be busy with mothers day tomorrow.

I felt bad taking my sons Godzilla away from him so I picked up a second Jakks for my project.

I have a 2 week vacation coming up in June, I know what I will be doing.
