edit nvm its 30 cm I thought it was another big scale figure.

I'm so glad this is the next Sakai piece. I never could pick this one up in resin model form.

He's perfect.

I mean I know that's the resin kit but pretty much that's what the product would be. Surprised they did a '91 right after '89. They are so alike.

I'm surprised as well. I didn't expect one considering the standard xplus sculpted series didn't offer him.....I hope this means we are getting a heisei King Ghidorah as well!

I wonder if there'll be a little rock base for the tail.....or if he'll balance just right so it'll stay off whatever surface he is standing on.....I wouldn't mind a simple piece of clear plastic (maybe tinted slightly bluePurple like how neca does it so it won't yellow over time....come to think of it, the rock would suffice.)

Doubt it. He'll slightly lean back like '89 I bet. He'll also likely be closer to 28cm than 30.

Sakai seems to be a pretty big fan of the '89/'91 suit, I'm surprised at X-Plus putting out his before their own.

Great business model for a profit increase, just replace XP labeled figures with the Sakai label and charge more for the sculptors involvement.

I do like that design more than the one used for his 89.

I dont know the story about this yet...but if these are x-plus I am in deep ****. These are gorgeous.

Obviously the top is sakai's 2000. The bottom is shinzen's stylized GMK. Dont know if or how they are being released but...something is coming.

The Sakai is one of his own released pieces. I'd like to see more of the '54 behind the GMK.
