What about 10 grand? Cause that's what the unpainted resin one costs. Of course that is $30,000 cheaper than the life size 1991 Godzilla being released by Tamashii Nations.

I'm confused now. The painted Kaiyodo is 10K right? Which one is 1K?

BTW, I just ordered this. I figure the open mouth version made it worth getting.

$40,000 is pretty cheap for a Godzilla statue the size of a high rise lol.

Its actually a little bit taller than the X Plus Gigantic Burning Godzilla 1995.

I know right. And remember guys. This painted maquette that Kaiyodo is offering, the one Takeya is holding there in that pic, was on sale at Japanese Seven Elevens. Yes. 7-11! I'd love to walk into a 7-11 and snag a cherry Slurpee, some nachos and a $1000 Shin Godzilla maquette. I could die a happy man after that transaction!

I know right. The maquette was only a $1000. I don't know how much their Slurpees are over there but I can ask the next time I talk to my friends who were there just recently.

Was jus in Japan in August. I went to 7-Eleven in many cities and not a single one sold slurpees or nachos. Sorry to kill that fantasy, guys.

They did sell a bunch of other yummy goodies though.
