I'm going to see if I can find a new micro switch at Home Depot today and replace the faulty one...ami ami hasn't responded to my message yet

Changed the switch..still doesn't work....must be something wrong with the board? Oh well....hate this figure. I hope anyone else that bought one has better luck than me

That new 89 I cancelled. Price is ridiculous for it. Not worth it. Anyways got in another early birthday present from my girlfriend and it's a new X-Plus. Kiryu Mechagodzilla Tokyo SOS diamond reissue! Review coming soon. I cannot thank her enough. I could of wait until next week to get it but she insisted I open it today on Godzilla's birthday.

I cancelled my shma 89 as well...just don't know if it's worth 200 bucks. Sculpt looks great...

Don't you have the Sakai '89 and '91 from X-Plus? If so, I'd say save your money, $200 just gets you a smaller, articulated version that may break. I have 8" scale Sakai '89 and '91, same size as this, I'm thrilled with them, and combined I paid almost $200 for the figures and paint job.

I have the sakai 91 xplus...I didn't bite on the 89. The molded-together teeth bothered me in pics even though in person I'd probably not notice lol

Actually yes, I would say so. Sales out there are asking for $300 just for the Banpresto. Whether you want it or not, you got a lot in the package and worth a good amount, the head magnets are pretty awesome.

Ami ami is going to take care of me and replace Godzilla. I am very happy about that and very pleased with ami ami. I will not buy another figure from the new lights and sounds line though...even if I end up really liking the figure when it works.

So, it seems like this is yet another lottery release, I guess with a chance to win 1 of 3 versions of the Banpresto figure, atomic ray, frozen or a more film accurately painted regular version.
Unfortunately, with it still being lottery, I'm guessing this will be quite limited, but I'm hoping with a total of 4 of these out there, the price to get your hands on one will be lower, maybe the more film accurate paint version will reduce the price on the first release. I'd like to get my hands on 1 of the 4 versions, whichever I don't care, just looking to not break the bank doing it.
