It does appear that the X-Plus 1999 Godzilla is an RIC exclusive. It's the 2013 figure reissued with the orange light up fins and open mouth.

In the future, I would highly recommend https://treasure-japan.com/ You just send them the link to the japanese page your item is on, pay for it and wait for it to come in. So you would send them this link https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000112834/ and tell them how many you want. You then pay for the item and when it arrives, they charge you for the shipping and their (I think) 13% fee. So you'll pay around $158+shipping.
Very professional and prompt. You may pay a bit more here than other shipping services, but I don't want to try and translate Japanese and place the order directly myself. Treasure Japan is as simple as you get without actually knowing someone in Japan who can do these things for you.

So true. That piece captures the horror and power of that first film in a way that no figure at all does. The film is so crazy that it takes a scene and not just a figure.

Got this little guy in today although bbts advertised it as the second version with the purple highlights.
Interesting, I got a purple one from BBTS, so I guess it's luck of the draw.
I emailed them, there are two paint variants to the updated one they were selling, one a newer shade of red from the first release, one the purple paint variant, BBTS wasn't sure what they were getting and I guess didn't check before shipping. I'm fine with getting the purple one, offers something different in my Shin collection, though I wish it wasn't such a pink shade of purple.

It's an impressive little figure, definitely worth the $20 price tag, about 4-5" tall.

That's why as soon as I realized there were two versions I reached out to BBTS and they had no idea what they'd get, but I was ok with either, I kind of prefer the red but it's nice having the purple for some variety with so many Shin Godzillas in my collection.

Cool. The reds look a lot better than mine which are almost non-existent on the body. I could live with the violet color but the neck and tail tip would need re-working.

Wow, just compared back to your pics and you're right, there's almost no red on your body. I like the purple mostly except the sloppy application on his neck, I'll probably try to add some balco to make it look a little better.
