For me, there are two truly ultimate Shin Form 4 collectibles that have been offered, the Banpresto lottery figure and Ultimate Shin from X-Plus. Banpresto perfectly captures the indifferent side of Shin, and X-Plus realy captures the fury within that you dare not unleash.

Agreed. I know the sakai will be nice as well, but I love the dynamic look of the gigantic. But $750 for vinyl....i don't feel like i can justify it at times

It's completely overpriced, considering a JAKKS 36" figure doesn't cost you $100. Obviously X-Plus sculpts are leagues better, but the item you're getting is no more complicated to manufacture and hardly painted any better.

Sakai's 30cm Shin is great in accuracy but the pose almost feels like a 3D of the poster image and does encompass the character persona as well as his Banpresto sculpt.

Well, gigantic shin ric is now officially ordered. I hate myself. Least I know if I don't love it as much as i hope I do I can sell it off as fast as this thing sold out.

You will love it, it's a Gigantic Shin! I can't wait for it. The 2nd form and the deforeal awakening version are also
scheduled to come out in October. It will be an expensive month for me.....

Yeah right now I'm just sticking myself with the Gigantic. The other forms will likely be diamond reissued at some point. I want the 30cm kong, ric supermechagodzilla, and mechagodzilla 75 first. I'm also interested in this stylized spacegodzilla coming out.

I asked this once but I will do it again. Anyone around here own Kaiyodo Shin Godzilla maquette? Is it still worth it to get one, despite X-Plus Gigantic will be around soon? I PO'ed Gigantic Ric but still try to get Kaiyodo's unpainted kit, and maybe about to get one soon. Is it still worth it?

It's bigger than gigantic ric isn't it? It's also more rare. And probably more screen accurate. Plus you can paint the red to be more like the movie. So, if you think gigantic ric is worth it id probably suggest the kaiyodo is as well. How much more is it though? You can probably get one cheaper once the market cools.

I don't have much of value left in my collection and what is left I would never sell, and there's a number of things I'm looking to get that I can get all for the price of this Godzilla alone so I'm passing, even though it is a beauty to behold, just pushes me to finish my repaint of the MKS shin so I will have a Shin that lives up to my fullest wishes.

That Godzilla design is not good, it looks like a potato with arms and legs. Glad I didn't preorder it sight unseen. I'm sure it'll be fine in the show, but does't really work for me. It almost looks like an unpainted prototype since he's so plain.
